Get back on bro. I wrecked going 64 on a dirt road. Took my chin part way off and I was wearing my helmet correctly. Nothing can keep me off two or three wheels except my hours at work.

vburnett and americandude: First and most importantly, I'm glad both of you are ok following your accidents. Next, and almost as important, good on you both just for getting back on your motorcycles. Even if it means riding on 3 (and the Ryker is awesome imho), think about all the good reasons that you SHOULD ride. I'm sure the pros outweigh the cons by miles. If you have a bad day doing something you love, sure there may be a bunch of things running through your mind discouraging you from doing it again. But you've got to get back out there.

@@dester3275 only in the sense of crashing by yourself. You probably won't low side from going over gravel, but you're also wider, which gives you fewer escape routes. A motorcycle can filter/split, which can be a lifesaver if traffic suddenly stops, and the guy behind you is distracted on the phone. Meanwhile, you don't have a choice on this, and you still lack the protection of a car.

I think is so hated because people who don't ride bikes think this is safer but equally cool... I never tried one, but it's an horrible stupid machine. It's big like a car but without any comfort and you can't lean so it's not funny like a motorcycle. Moreover the g force will pull you outside the corner and it looks like you can easily flip it. Everytime I see a can am I think about that guy in the skatepark😂 for me everyone with this thing is like him

Ooof this comment nailed it lol. For me we have had family members with bikes and it never ended well for them. If I wanted any open road freedom this is my closest option.

Well, I'm thankful he didn't call it a motorbike. I've seen em, I've ridden em, and those abominations are closer to a car than a motorcycle. A good buddy of mine got one when he got too old and weak to ride his gtr1400, and I was fortunate to have had the chance to do 500 miles on it. Still hate it. I'm glad for him and respect his choices, but I'd personally just get a Corvette, Miata or something.

It depends on region manly but for most parts of the world any motor vehicle with 2 or three wheels is considered a motorcycle thus requiring an endorsement to ride it on public roads. Here in the us it is required to have said endorsement to ride this, a tri glide, a Spyder, ryken ( I think that's how the Yamaha one's spelled.) Or any other trike. ("OVER 125CC")
