Great video, is that the Gyproc Standard Square edge 9.5mm Plasterboard, (L)1.8m (W)0.9m from B&Q ? Also plan on overboardig soon , good thing I watched this video, was planning on getting the 12.5.. didnt even know 9.5 existted lol also can i use the mega stick if im overboarding over spiky artex texture (which prob contains asbestos)? Hope you'll make a ceiling pastering video too.

Hi, Thank you for the comment! Yes that was the plasterboard & size I was using. And yeah the mega stick should work exactly the same on most surfaces. Just remember to give the ceiling a light spray with water before applying, and then you should be good to go. Hope that helps😊

Be careful with the adhesive man it's carcinogenic. ALWAYS wear gloves with that stuff, other than that man you've done a really good job!!

I've just done a quick search and MegaStik claims there is limited evidence. However its probably best to wear gloves as other brands may differ. Appreciate the comment & heads up 🙌

Great work just a question for you what happens if the ceiling above you is weak, i.e. has three or four long cracks in it what do you recommend do? 👍

@truth3358 Id recommend to have the cracks central to a new board (where possible) , so that the new plasterboard joint is in a different position. Also using a combination of screws & adhesive can help lock everything in place. I had the exact same on my living room ceiling & i've had no problems since. Hope that helps 😁
