HOW TO EMPTY A DOMETIC CARAVAN TOILET CASSETTE IN OUR RED CENTRE CARAVAN

While travelling around Australia in our Red Centre Caravan there’s a task that some caravaners need to do, which is empty the toilet cassette. I was waiting my turn at a dump point watching an old fellow struggling with this task and I thought he was going to fall down on top of the dump point inlet. After he finished I approached him and asked if he knew about the air release valve at the top of the cassette which he replied, no. I explained how to use it and he was very grateful. He was not the only person that I noticed did not know about the air release valve, so I decided to do this video.

Great work Sep. Another useful hint is not to leave the end cap sitting on the edge of the dump chute whilst you are emptying the cannister. I've seen a few people stressed after their end cap has washed down the chute 😂😂

Emptying a toilet cassette into a dump point is not that exciting, I remember one in particular it was overflowing not I pretty sight. Cheers!

I was going to go to the local dump point and do the video but considering the cassette was clean I decided to do it in the backyard. Cheers!

There’s no smell the from the cassette due to the addition of biodegradable chemicals and the modern dump points don’t smell like you think they would. Cheers!
