How to enable free live captions and transcripts on Zoom

This is a huge update that will make a big difference in accessibility for your Zoom Meetings. You now can turn on free live captions directly in Zoom, without third-party integration, and then download the transcripts as text and "vtt"-subtitle files.

⚠️UPDATE OCT 25, 2021:
As promised earlier this year, Zoom’s Live Transcription service is now available for Free accounts. This enhancement provides access to Live Transcription for all account and user types. Live transcription must be enabled in the User-level Settings page for use in meetings and webinars.
