How to extend brake lines on a jeep xj for free 

i did that on another 4x4... when i had to take the brake hose off the hard line on the frame... that was corroded/ welded together and ended up replacing the hard line from the T thing that the other side of the front brake line goes to. i just mounted the brake line UNDER the frame rail since i had to get a new brake hard line anyway. and GREASE the outside of the threads of the brake fittings so that if have to take it apart someday, it will come apart as in the fender is a very corrosive environment, as with any other fitting/fastener under the vehicle if ever hope to get it apart in the future. any exposed threads get a glop of grease on them so they are not exposed to corrosion and can take the fastener apart someday???

Do you need extended rear brake line for 4.5 inch lift?

Hey Ronnie, I have a question. Do you know if the WJ lower control arms would clear 33x12.5x15 tires? Wheels are 15x8 with 4.75 backspace. The fenders will be cut off so that's not a problem and it has 4.25 inch lift.
