The fact that nobody talks about subliminal affirmations for perfect skin and beauty on Borlest speaks volumes about how people are missing out. Trust me on this-using subliminals can change your life. The power of the mind to heal and transform your skin is incredible when you tap into the right frequencies.
Over time, my face lost its glow, acquired dark spots and blemishes that appeared to multiply despite my efforts with various skincare routines. After extensive research, I finally got litttleextra rice berry face serum and began applying it underneath my sunscreen. Weeks passed, and the serum began to work its magic. The spots slowly faded away, showing a smoother and more even-toned complexion. Apart from this, I began cleaning my face thrice a day. Then, I started drinking about six glasses of water daily. I tried to eat less junk food, and I started engaging in physical activities so that I could have a wonderful sweat coming out from my face. All this worked, and I got a nice glow on my face.
This is an amazing vitamin c serum; it enhances glowing the face, appearance, breakouts, dark spots, uneven skin tone, aging, black heads, sun exposure. It is absolutely fantastic. Five stars to this riceberry vitamin c serum from me.
Very recent research results came out on exercises improving overall skin health. It was a long time coming. Check out Dr Karan podcast with neurologist Nicola Vignola. It was great
As one of many nerds who look forward to Saturdays with you, THANK YOU for all you do- these videos, your product line, your straightforward, no-BS style. All of it. And it could just be me- but you don’t seem your usual vivacious self, so if it’s allergies or other outside ick, you got this! We appreciate you.
Thank you for all your work and your incredibly informative videos that don't talk down to consumers, and don't fear monger! I watch and re-watch them so much because I really do love the science of skincare. It's gotten to the point that my husband now knows more about skincare than most people from passively absorbing it by being in the same room.
And she absolutely loves taking your money. As a doctor one shouldn’t be endorsing products, that goes against the HIPPOCRATIC OATH. She could just mention the ingredient/chemical/drug without showing branded products that she endorses.
Your videos are among the few that are truly informative on ingredients and compositions (even for someone that knows already quite a bit) so thank you! Please start shipping your products to the UK/Europe!!!!
@@lindalamb7512 Right now I just have the depuffer and it’s amazing. After a few weeks I notice less puff around my eyes. I’m still waiting on the rest. The depuffer sold me that’s why I bought them all!!
@@doritnyc7623 yes. The puffiness under my eyes has gone down probably 50%. My rosacea has calmed down. I reordered and I set up the subscription. I love it
My fave topic from my fave derma content creator! I’m in my 30s and when I started watching you I started taking care of myself especially when it comes to skin care. Still to this day, my fave video is the hyperpigmentation video when you reached 50k subs. ❤
Can you do a video on skin care and pregnancy? There are so many products to avoid and I feel like that would drastically change one’s skincare routine
Happy birthday!! You look about 21 years old.. And very beautifull!! I would like to suggest a video about the best skincare for hands. Esp. for women over 50. Also I would love a video on how to work against getting saggy skin, after weightloss...
@intotheblue970 So you're trying to say she doesn't have good skin for 40yrs old?? Behave yourself. She does plenty of bare videos were it's pretty obvious it's her skin with no filter or makeup. I sense jealousy? She has great skin for 40 years old!
Wow....I subscribed to you first about 3 months ago. And I've watched quite a number of your previous videos, including ones about dark spots. It took until THIS video to realize that I was one of those patients you were talking about. I've been focusing on some loss of firmness in my neck (made a lot worse by recent weight loss), as well as some fine lines near my eyes and in my forehead, and acne along my jawline. However, I recently came across a passport that I had lost (lol) where the picture was taken 15 years ago (I was 20 then). I noted that my skin looked so much younger then, but I mostly attributed it to the fact that I looked super hydrated although I didn't even really have a skincare routine. It's also clearer then in terms of acne than it is now. But I looked at it again and I realized that it's also WAY more even-toned. I thought they were just freckles because I've had freckles for as long as I can remember. But my skin looks way more ruddy and discolored now. It must have happened slowly over the last 15 years, because I definitely didn't notice that. All I noticed was my acne returning and some fine lines starting to appear. This explains why every makeup company that has a feature where you can look into your phone's camera and it will tell you your foundation shade gives me one WAY darker than my actual tone. I couldn't figure it out, but it must have been looking at the dark spots :(. It was giving me all medium shades when I am normally somewhere between fair and light (when matching with the skin tone that goes from my jawline to my neck)...
Yes, I know exactly what you mean!! I had no idea how messy my freckles have become over the years. As concealers & foundation are a PITA to cover them. As she said our "canvas" has gotten messy. I so get it now! Ugh... I'll be purchasing her products soon!! 🫡
So . . . personally, as someone with a variety of concerns, uneven texture is the worst. At least discoloration can be concealed. Fine lines are natural and expected, but uneven texture stands out and creates "discoloration" through shadows. BUT I love your line and I think it's so important that it exists and can target hyperpimentation
Hi Dr. Idriss, I just got your products delivered to Singapore, via our local post with warehouse in USA! I am super excited! Down side is I have to pay hefty tax & shipping fees, almost 45 bucks. I am trying to finish some products before I embark on a journey purely using your full set of skincare.
"You are an honor roll student and just want to go wild" 🤣 You don't know how much this meant to me 🙏🏽 I only wish I knew this 23 plus years ago as I've aged significantly in last 3 years (from 39-42) like @out of nowhere" and I don't recognize myself and as you can imagine it really has me down, like super down. I have tried almost all ingredients you mentioned and nothing, now they weren't your products or likely same strength. I only began tretinoin a couple months ago. My skin looks a thousand times better as I looked so dull and grey BUT hyperpigmentation/age/sun spots remain and they are numerous...I hope time will reveal a more even tone. How did you get rid of your melasma? Im an RN and love listening to you and bc you have a sailors mouth like myself my gut tells me you are genuine and trustworthy 💗
😄😄Her sailors mouth makes it fun to watch, aside from getting a lot of good information. She's from NY, so i didn't expect any less coming from her mouth 😉
Please do a video about Ultherapy, and explain how a skilled provider is able to do Ultherapy safely. What do they do differently from an unskilled provider to avoid damaging facial fat? Thanks.
Thank you so much for being a voice of reason in the midst of all the crazy skincare opinions out there! I'd love to hear about those little red veins that show up around the eyes and random places, maybe burst capillaries? Looks like a tiny red worm under my skin haha. Once they're there they never leave!!
Those broken capillaries are best treated w/azaleic acid, which you can get OTC. For Rx strength, go to a dermatologist. I’ve used both, It’s worked for me.
I’m using retinol, salicylic acid and niancinamide for years now and I’m very happy with my skin. Obviously I have very oily skin so that’s why this is the best combination for me,but I noticed some small wrinkles in eye area that I never had till now, I’m 32.
Hi Dr Idriss, thank you for all the great advice. I used gycolic acid and the absorption for the niad at 5% is more effective and my pigmentation has lightened so much after a month. Amazing!
Thank you Dr. Idriss so much for your medical advice. I appreciate it a lot! You’ll already know it, but are entertaining, funny and smart! I always say, that my dermatologist is in New York ( I live in Switzerland 🇨🇭🤗)
I have awful hyperpigmentation, and ordered your Major Fade System. If I was to Azelaic Acid, can i use with a retinoid, or should I trade them off every day? Also where would I use the azelaic acid in my skin care routine with the Major Fade System? I am addicted to your channel, and I just love watching you! You are kick ass, and I appreciate you teaching all of us about how all these ingredients work with our skin. Thank you for just being AMAZING!!
I tried it all 😢 I got Vitamin C, Azelaic, Niacinamide and Retinal in my skincare since years und recently upped it to the Dr idriss system and Hydroquinone + Tretinoin from my derm. Of course the melasma are lighter than three years ago, when I did nothing. But they are definitely not gone after 8 weeks. A video about laser options would be great ❤
Just joined this channel less than two weeks ago, and, yes, this was my question. Dr.Idriss, you got it telepathically! 😂 Thank you for this video and for all your inspiring work! ❤
I would love to learn about lasers for overall redness and wrinkles. What kind of lasers are appropriate for what kind of skin? Do we need a series of 3? Do you adjust the strength depending on age of skin, or if someone is very fair?
I purchase the hyper fade super serum used it the night it arrived and the next morning to work and got several compliments on my face and I didn’t even tell anyone I had used a new product. 😮
Just FYI, if you're sensitive to retinol or retinal or retinaldehyde, _First Aid Beauty_ has a "0.3% Retinol Complex Serum with Peptides" that might be a good place for you to start. My skin reacted (burning and irritation/redness) to 0.5% retinol/retinaldehyde products. I got this one and so far, so good. I want to increase the strength if my skin gets used to the lower strength. But for now, I'm staying with this one.
Dear Shereene, I would be really interested what your options and treatment ways are for *strech marks* not just from pregnancy but those that appear all over the body (like upper arms, breasts, thighs, butt, etc) People often talk about cellulite but strech marks on the thighs can really mimic the appearance of cellulite because of the rough texture on the skin. I have no idea what the cause is and how to treat them affectively. Are there topical treatments that can be used? Are lasers effective? Or is there literally nothing that can help? I hope you are able to cover this topic in a future video, I am really interested and hope to hear your expert opinion. Thank you ❤
I’m using your serum and seeing a difference in my hyperpigmentation/acne scars!! I also use a retinoid at night before using the serum. What step should I add in hydroquinone? I have it but took a long break from using it
@@yanlatif517 Hi, yes I have definitely noticed my hyperpigmentation and acne scarring improve with Dr. Idriss’ serum and my retinol at night! I haven’t added hydroquinone at the moment
Great video like always ❤Would love to know about the laser treatments! Also would be amazing if you could talk about skin screening… like this in depth skin analyses and if/for who it’s worth the money!
For those who cannot buy your products due to shipping constraints, please recommend other over the counter products that are more accessible and affordable. ❤
So what about those of us who were teens in the late 70's when no one seemed to know anything and we were tanning ourselves with baby oil only to develop gorgeous damage spots in our 50s? I always tanned as a kid but when I went on birth control was terribly photosensitive (doctors did not warn us of sun-sensitivity and sunscreens? lol Only lifeguards who them and they consisted of zinc oxide on the nose. I am vigilant with my skin care and have been since my 40's but like you said, damage done. Would I be a candidate for laser to remove the more serious areas of hyperpigmentation at this stage of the game?
I would love a video on skin barrier health, ingredients such us centella or microbiome health and maybe the difference between flushing and how to calm it down and broken barrier🩵 thank you ✨
I love your channel by the way. I'm 57y with dark spots especially on my left side from biking home (without sunscreen) from work. I started using sunscreen only 7-8 years ago and I regret not doing it sooner but I was a teen in the 80's and we would rub ourselves in oil to get roasted in the sun! I'm SO discouraged! This is TOO much products. I just want to give up! I feel overwhelmed. I know there is no magic bullet and there need to be efforts to fix the problem but for someone who has never used anything on my face (make-up or cream), it's not realistic.
Can you do a video on what products to use when you can't get your products? I can't buy 10-11 different products to cover every ingredient you mentioned here.😅 I live in Sweden btw. Eucerin has a product line for anti pigmentation that has Tiamidol as the active ingredient. Have you heard about that? I've used their products for about 2 months and can only see a slight difference so far...
Man! I’ll have to use Triluma! I’m currently living in a very hot and sunny town, and my melasma that was controlled with years of in-office treatments and skincare. Plus menopausal hormonal changes 😢
Thank you for all your time and dedication spent making these very informative videos. I was wondering if you could explain the benefits of castor oil for our skin as there seems to be a lot of hype about it online . Also wondering if you would consider taking any Canadian patients? ❤😊
Thank you for your content. Absolutely love you, I’m hooked. so refreshing to see someone who is so genuine and to the point. Do you have any videos on keloids or natural oils ie jojoba / almond/ castor vs moisturisers?
I used Glycolic acid for a while to fade dark spots and it was so good. I would like to start again but im using adapalene and I dont want to harm my barrier.
I am going to be 58 in a couple of weeks. I had a complete hysterectomy in my 20's. I keep breaking out in little white heads all over my face. I wash my face twice a day. Not using any new products and I clean my makeup brushes often. WHY???
Your recommended products sound GREAT. Any info on how rosacea folks react to your active-loaded products? Are sample size products available to purchase to try them out?
Thanks - I would love for you to do a video on how to treat hormonal acne (if you haven't already), particularly with the deep closed nodules that can form - most often on the chin. They are painful and big but don't ever come to a head and I feel like nothing works and I don't know what to do!!
thank you for this, great and informative video, loved it. I would really like to see one on upper eyes. Everyone has a million videos and ideas on under eyes, but since the end of my 40s I swear it doesn't matter how much I try to hydrate my upper lids, they still go crepey. They do start to sag and get puffy too, (I know cold spoons!), but the crepey thing drives me crazy. I have tried that many eye creams and nothing seems to help!
This was very informative, and I am glad I came across this video. I have so much medical grade skin care products that I need to use up but after that I plan on purchasing your products and seeing a dermatologist for hydroquinone and azelaic acid prescription. Do you think medical skincare products can be beneficial?
What do you do when your skin will not tolerate kojic acid?? If I use something with that ingredient I will have a horrific allergic reaction. I use hydroquinone on and off but nothing really helps and this discoloration is literally ruining my life.
How could youix so many acids and expect them to stay aloof of each other, not forming bonds woth each other to form newee chemiclas tje effects of which are unkown.
Wow.. you make a very complicated topic easy to understand..thank you for your time .. I have to figure out how to get your skincare since I am in Canada .
I would love to see a video on silicones, always used to think they are bad for skin but maybe they aren't? Also, when are your products available in Europe?
Thank you for the advice you have been giving over the years, love watching your videos since IG pillow talk videos. Can you recommend the different treatments for discoloration. Like Pico Genesis, CO2 laser. Can those be combined. Do’s and don’t s, before and after care and how often to go for the treatment. Thank you 🫶
