Hi everyone! In recent months I have been going through some things, healing my traumas and doing inner child work. While doing it, I noticed that some days it was really difficult to allow myself to feel and just stay with whatever was coming up. Upon doing some reading, I realized that there are activities that can help to connect with emotions and let them move through me. I called them "emotional carriers" as they helped to keep the flow going and found them extremely beneficial, when used with an intent. I really hope my suggestions will help you to get in touch with yourself and stay in a present moment, even when it's not so very pleasant.
