In this video, we go step by step showing you how we filled out the DS-160!
This is an online application that is used to apply for various US visas including a tourist visa, student visa and the K visas (among many others)!

I am applying for a J visa, still do not know the address, the state I am going to as I go following an exchange programm and the family has not choosen me yet. There is a part in the DS160 form where I need to select the State and it is compulsary in order to proceed with filling the form. What happenes if I select any State and then it is not the right one ? above the selection, in the address request, I put N.A.. If you can be so kind to confirm that if we select Yes for "are there other persons traveling with you" - does this mean that this visa application is for them as well? or we need to file separate visa application for each of the companions? how can we ensure that a mom, and her 2 children are all part of the same application? i did not see the form asking for passport information for the children - just the primary traveler.. any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you’re completing multiple DS-160s for your family, you can create a family application that will automatically fill in some details for each family member. To do this, first complete one DS-160. On the “Thank You” page that follows the confirmation page, you’ll see an option to create a family application. Remember, while this will automatically complete some parts of the DS-160 for each family member, everyone still needs their own individual DS-160.

Guys I have a question, I am filling up the form for a tourist VISA (TYPE B2) I have mentioned the hotel name and address where ill be staying during my holiday in the travel information section, however, as I work for an American company, and my employer is American, living in the US. I have a difficult question. My friend has a permanent residence in one country but he not living there anymore, and he lost the card of the permanent residence.
