The only thing different from my exhaust to Tyler’s now are the ART pipes. Tyler’s ART pipes have a sharper angle on them compared to mine (newer). After speaking to Tony at Motordyne, this was due to an older machine/tooling they had that was worn out/replaced hence why the newer ART pipes have a less sharper angle on them going into the canister. And from thermodynamics, the angle of which the cross sectional area changes to create a nozzle or diffuser effect matters in pressure and volume of fluid flow (air). But I’m drawing the line here….I’m not going to spend anymore money on Motordyne exhaust parts. My exhaust sounds closer to Tyler’s more than ever now; all that’s left is that I have 11:1 compression ratio as a result of my RevUp engine rebuild; so my engine is ever so slightly more high pitched in sound that Tyler’s….nothing I can do. 😔
Will the up rev app still tell me which one ecu I need for my car without having uprev or stick I’m having trouble finding a new ecu for my 2006 Infiniti g35 sedan auto I can’t find a part number because the last owner before tipped the sticker off
I called Tim at Xact Dyno to try and track down Tyler’s camshaft phasing calibration so I could upload it to my G35 coupe; however, Tim told me “no”, he wouldn’t give me advice as to how he cal’d Tyler’s camshaft phasing. Again, another attempt to try and get my G35 coupe to sound like Tyler’s - and it was a fail. Now I have to find the optimum camshaft overlap myself on the Dyno….which is time consuming because you can’t “live” tune cam phasing in each cell of the 3D table/surface like you can fuel and spark in the UpRev software.
Tyler, Can you convince Tim to send me your camshaft phasing calibration/tune? Cam phasing does change the sound on the RevUp engines. I locked my camshafts at 0deg of cam timing and it definitely was different. Maybe Tim just has a sh*t ton of camshaft overlap in your calibration/ECU?? Not sure….please help.
I have an 04 sedan 6mt and it keeps Melting coils the exact same way and now I’m not getting any spark after it randomly died for the first time ever can’t read for codes just says error I’m thinking bad ecu but idk please help
Uploading a video here soon on my fake Facebook sell. The view point from a seller. I listed over 20k in mods and the best offer I got was 7k. Not worth ever selling but was curious on what people would pay.
@@MotordyneG35 Smart man! These cars are timeless and unfortunately get a lot of hate. Besides that people beat the hell out of them and it makes the market bad. Only time will show the true Gems like yours.
@@MotordyneG35 I tried that, with turning the input shaft it has like a inch gap all the way around and I won’t dare use the bolts to pull the transmission in knowing it’s supposed to sit flush on its own
@@rudewhipz6199 you actually watched to the 17 minute mark for that info or just stick on the driveshaft and turn it that way. Turning the input shaft works, then that son of b slides in like 🧈
@@MotordyneG35 I’m sure it is, never bench tested it. But I’m sure it doesn’t matter, I have a rev up harness with a non rev up de ecu on one of my g35s. Aslong as it’s rev up it’ll have all the extra perimeters you need for tuning.
