@@Brian.Brentwood Ever since he started, really! I remember about 4 years ago when Toby Dog was born and he was in training. Morgan has been the same amazing person since ever :)
😂 That's what happens when Abby is with the weird chickens, she becames a weirdo, too! 😅 Of course, Ginny Barn Cat is up to her scene stealing ways regardless of the cold winter's day. Great video, Morgan, and please stay warm.
Loving harp music and Mozart's Voi Che Sapete aria. "Ladies, SWEET ladies, see if I have love in my heart..." PERFECT for morning hen permutations! 😊❤😁❤😊
Toby isn't random with his markings. Even I know that's his thing when he's sprung. Yes, Abby is an attention hog. Great to see Baby B coming around. ♥️👍🏻🐕
Thank you for talking about the way you focus on projects, because I have a similar "hyper-focus" on my current or most favored task. It works great when the thing you're working on is the one you need to be. Most of my problems come from when "want" focus vs "task" focus misalign!
Thank you for keeping ‘Release the quacken’. Ah ha! Freezer camp cracked me up. Baby Bea is so delightful. You have made friends with her. Cows have best friends so it would be interesting to see who are closest to each other. If you haven’t been motivated to do something don’t beat yourself up. You will get it done. I love hearing Ginny purring. Makes my day. Thank you. May you please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
Horses have best friends too. I went on a week long camping pack trip in the Absaroka mountains near Cody Wyoming and the wranglers running it said they had to make sure they didn't ever separate the horses from their best friends or there would be trouble.
I've been subscribed to your channel for quite some time now and each and every time you never fail to deliver great content. It's a first class ticket and I'll always fly with it. Thanks for inviting us that watch your channel into your life. Quite impressive sir.
Jeremy JR aka JJ cannot be a troublemaker like Jeremy 1, I liked him when I heard on a LIVE that he’s gone I was like crying and it was a bit emotional😅! I absolutely love living on a farm,my family and I we have like about 100 chickens, and I think 60 or 70 geese I love taking care of them😊
Oh my gosh that bit at the end where you talk about focus and the hatchery is SOOOO relatable. I just spent months grinding after work to finish the first draft of my second book, and the way my brain works, that meant eeeeeverything else got put on hold until I got done this week. Phew! Wishing you all the best on the book!! Thanks as always for the wonderful videos. Baby B is too precious for words.
0:51 Okay, I just. Kinda started tearing up a bit because I've had a bit of a frustrating morning with my own white doggo; he's got kidney stones which needs vet food I can't afford (borrowing $ from family) because I'm disabled, he's constantly licking himself bloody because of allergies (gets his meds from family too) and I was so wound up. Cranky at him (unfair), cranky at myself (unfair) and having a hard time. And, this little bit of joy of you enjoying the sunshine and your dogs, calling them "pupperonis - ... it helped a little. It took the edge off that cranky despair. Thanks Morgan & doggos...
I purchased your first book for my granddaughter who lives in another state. When I told my daughter that you were writing another book and I was going to get that one for my granddaughter she got very excited. Looking forward to it! You have something for every member of the family. Everybody likes watching animals including children. Plus you have adult conversation for the adults. And you have stuff for everybody in between. Keep up the wonderful work!
14:45. Morgan, Morgan, Morgan I’m feeling you. I’m the same way. I’m a project person, but I’ve got to really feel inspired before starting a project and I typically like to finish one before starting another. This seems pretty normal to me, but luckily I’m married to someone who picks up the slack and can do lots a little jobs all at the same time. This is where opposites attract and make for a great team. You’ll do it and I love to see your transformation over the years to constructing better and better things. Way to go. The best way to learn is not to be afraid to make mistakes and just know you’ll learn as you go. And also start small and build up as you garner new skills. Ooo and I just love that new barn. That space inspires me and I’m not even there.
I find many adults expectation of happiness to be unrealistic. Constantly disappointed they are not “happy” all the time. This is how children think. I have to wonder who on earth told them this is how life should be??? Happiness is a lovely feeling we all appreciate and can be leveler of the day to day business of life, but it’s not a constant. You can have a sense of joy that allows you to appreciate all that life brings. But being “Happy” all the time is not only impossible, it sets you up for inevitable disappointment. Happiness is a moment in time, not a lifestyle!!
I love that crunchy sound of a cold morning in VT! Ginny barncat almost looks like a tiny bobcat, and certainly has the hunting instincts of one.😻Stay warm, Morgan!
I will echo what so many others tell you, because you are a true joy maker! I love your videos they uplift me they make my heart sing, and you’re really really good at this! This one was pretty special with the sun rising at the beginning, it was outstanding, and then we got to see it a couple other times too. Thank you for all you do! ❤you are a true shining star!
Great visit with reflections on all the animals. Kudos on “freezer camp” and “Abby is broken”!😂. Always been fascinated with call ducks.. maybe you’ll get him a mate…..
The only animal I have a relationship with is my rooster Marty. It means the world tho ! He gets loved on daily and is the most attentive , protective and sweet bird I have. He is so greatly appreciated and I am the luckiest to have my big boy !
Regarding your desire to eventually get to the hatchery; my sister sent her brothers a meme this weekend that you may find useful. The meme shows an old painting of a woman sitting at a table with a list in front of her. She says "Marking things off my To Do list. I didn't do them. I just don't want them on my list anymore". ;-)
I have a Toulouse Gander named Samson....he was super nice until he started putting his head through the Field Fence, and my Girlfriend (who has a few Chickens & 2 Turkeys on my RV Space) kept Smacking Samson on the Beak....he started getting more & more aggressive...I asked her to stop, but she kept popping Samson on the Beak.....now he is so aggressive...Biting at every opportunity.....I have to carry my Big Rake to keep him from attacking me....and we aren't seeing any Eggs as yet.....sigh....I hate to Cull him cuz I know he's reacting to my Friend's popping him..........
Morgan, I have just found out that I could minimize and watch your videos and multitask at the same time, but I am not able to do the same with other RU-vid channels! I wonder what magic that is!
I totally get not being motivated to do an outdoor project right now. I started one and can't seem to get back to it. I've got plenty of time, so there's no rush. I guess I work better under pressure. 😅
@@TheArchaicFuture Checking and dubble-checking: nah, I see traces of the collar parting the pelt around the neck. That's Abby, for sure, and it's Toby standing closest to the camera/Morgan, one can glimpse his heavier scruff/neck. Also: he wouldn't half-nip after a chicken in that way.
What’s going on with views on the channel? Are Vermont gate keepers and uneducated hound hunters who try and burn your barn down still trying to mess with you? Content has stayed consistently great. Please chat about it at the next farm meeting if you are comfortable. I’m in Burlington and extremely invested. Been a silent follower since the beginning. Either way I adore your channel. I grew up hunting in South Dakota and I love the respect you have for your animals. I understand the need for food and the pain of ending a life with your own hands in order eat.
During your advertisement for the mattress in what you represented as your bedroom I noticed the walls of that room appear to be the same color as the doors on the hoop coop. I'm not sure why but I find that very fascinating. I'm wondering if maybe that's Alison's favorite color and she picked the color scheme for the doors in the bedroom and hoop coop, or was that your choice?
Maybe hire a carpenter to start the hatchery? Then you won't be rushing to finish it when it's egg season. It's OK to get outside help when your busy ❤
Do those Birch mattresses ship to Vietnam? Mattresses here are often SO hard, but, as someone who grew up in the US, I'm accustomed to a softer sleeping experience. :)
