If you're confused... This was one of the first snapshots of 1.16, smithing tables didn't work back than. And now with the new version crafting tables won't work anymore. You can only do it using a smithing table. You will not lose enchantments this way. Good luck finding Ancient debris!!
I made a netherite Beacon and it took 460 stackes of tnt and the way I got the Tnt is that I built 3 creeper farms and used alts to activate them and mean while I was farming gunpowder me and two friends collected the sand and with all of that I got 500 stacks and about 460 were used also a tip if you find one ancient debris in the wall and you can see only one put a tnt beside it you might find more and use the black smithing table to change your armor from diamond to netherite to keep your enchantments. tip:there is one vain of netherite in every chunk also y-13 is the best place to find netherite
This help so much and I understand how to do this but I play on pocket edition and I have no idea how to turn on coordinates we have show positions but that's not really coordinates So I don't know how to get to Y15
Beds are renewable and easier to obtain in large amounts, but take up more space (can be mitigated if you have shulker boxes/an ender chest) and sets fire everywhere. TNT is non renewable and has a smaller blast radius but it's cleaner, less dangerous, and gives you time to run to safety. Beds are better in general since you literally only need wool and wood and you dont need to destroy a whole desert and kill every creeper on sight, plus you can save space by not crafting them and keeping wool and wood in your inventory until you need to craft beds.
In all honesty, i like the method you were using but I would use beds because 1. They are fairly cheap to make 2. The explosions are about the same. (Fire tho) 2b. Fire and lava is an easy obstacle to get by 3. While it might take alot of inventory space, you would only need 1 slot empty for the ancient debris 4. And I got around the same amount of ancient debris in about 20 minutes This is only my opinion, all you need to protect yourself is a shield or blast/fire prot armour
If u really want to carry more beds you should just take wool and planks and crafting table and make the beds in the nether, that way you don’t have to keep going back into the over world
What about the enchantments? I have a realm and we are quite far with all amazing tools and gear enchantments, but I realized you didn’t keep them from this vid, when we update to 1.16, should we upgrade our armor?
Beds are good for early game of you dont have a creeper farm or dont have a ton of gunpowder like me so starting a sheep farm would be good for early game and crafting shears to shear the sheeps so that you dont have to kill them and what i do is i go to y12 and creat a 3 by 3 tunnel and then u create strips 9 blocks apart and those strips are where im going to create a 2 by 1 tunnel so and at he left or right side ill create a strip as long i can reach then i count two blocks in the strip then after the 2 blocks i dig the 3,4 and 5 blocks then u place a bed right at he end and blow it up then boom you can find netherite its really efficient and every 27 beds i get an average of 5 to 12 netherite i ested it out in my hardcore world also diamond armour wih prot 4 or fire prot 4 is needed same with the tnt method And i create like a mini storage system to put my beds in the storage system so i dont have to go back & forth to my nether portal hope this helps for early game netherite if you dont have a creeper farm yet and dont have a lot of sand
I got insanely lucky in my world and had a really good strip mine where I found a lot of diamonds. And when I built my nether strip like I used beds and found enough scrap to upgrade my diamond.
you know, just so you keep the distance and wear armour (iron is good enough)using a bed to explode is a better idea since the materials will be easier to get, and the explosion is also bigger
