Yes, as usual it's the sky, I'll always come back for the sky. I think the 'sap-green-salad' needs some colour variation now, but the skies will undoubtedly draw me in. Nice work, Stuart.

Around 44.48 when you say "I can see it in my mind" this right here is where the artist separates from the random person who wants to try. Big difference.

🖌A brush in the last moments of its life - I know what you mean, Stuart, and before I forget, I'm here for the fantastic salad 🤣 because the sky comes with it anyway, and it always looks great, as you've shown us once again. - Good evening, so, you found a wonderful painting in the "mess", and I was pretty sure about that before. Your young student could have done worse for you, and you still would have managed to get nice textures or effects onto the canvas. What's on there already looks quite splendid, I'm already excited for a second part. Thank you, Stuart, have a good rest of the week. 👍💐

As I'm looking down at my pallet with 8 colors and my assortment of 10 or so brushes I can't help to feel like I've been lied to..lol..1 cheap brush, green paint and a cool European accent and ...Wah Lah!!..a masterpiece!!.He is very inspiring and not only an amazing artist but his style and approach has helped me channel severe anxiety and Adhd issues I've been dealing with for over 40 years..Thanks Stuart

I heard a similar theory that seeing a landscape or anywhere into far distance has a calming effect on us since it would give our predecessors an overview of their environment! It's also impressive that you were able to do a painting by proxy 😉 love the themes in this video!

And reall y liked the Salad in this piece i saw ponds n fence lines l love the way darkness in sky pushed the ground into another picture than the one I say in the early stage of painting ,and as you say ,Because I can thanks

Back again, and I must have missed the first few minutes, the last time, otherwise, I would have commented? The way John applied his paint, made me think he hasn't seen many of your videos? I was expecting to see him splash it on, like 'The Master', but he looked like he'd never held a brush before, let alone painted/created something? I like the trees and sky, and the overall composition, but (in my humble opinion), the grass is 'too busy', and there was no need for a mountain.

I'm cracking up, people asking you why you don't paint buildings lol. I don't want any buildings in my paintings either, no humans, no animals, the only sign of the human race I might include might be a pathway. I like raw nature the way it's supposed to be. In fact I'm even more extreme than you are, I will paint a seascape but no way in hell will I put a boat in it lol.

I like the sky and the salad, but I also like the commentary and instruction. I could see the potential landscape at the beginning. It perplexes me to figure out how to avoid mud, as you say. I know I'm going to have to transition to oils if I am going to try this. Acrylics just won't blend or wipe, and they dry too d*** fast.
