Girl thank you!!!! My cats broke one in each window and we were about to buy a whole new set of blinds! I mean they’re cheap but hey any amount of money that can be saved these days is a great thing! 😂
Thank you Irah! Suggestion: Eventually the slat will start to fall out of it's slot so If you have the broken piece of slat, glue the pieces together. Wait until the glue has set up, then take a popsicle stick, (equal to the width of the slat, one or two depending on the width of the slat and the sticks), and glue them lengthwise. Once it's set up, paint it to match your blinds. Or if you don't like the look of the popsicle sticks, you can always cover it with matching Gorilla/Duct tape or a piece of cloth that matches the color of your blinds. It won't be very noticeable since the repair will be on the bottom of the slat. Hope this helps.
Just watched your video and amazed I managed to fix it just there 3 blinds right up the top so was a pain in the ass putting the string back through all of them but I done it 😊
@@IDontEvenWorkHereI wish you could edit the video or pin an update that people need to hold the cord that runs through the slats or it goes up into the top bar and I can’t get into it to grab the cord😩🤦♀️☠️
there is usually extra blinds at the bottom that lay flat, if not find whatever company that makes the blinds you have, and buy through them, as stores dont typically have singular blinds
You should’ve told everyone to secure it at the top, im reading all the comment and a lot of ppl are upset abt. Plz make a new video and talk about securing it
If you know the brand you might be able to order them. But the trick on this is to use the bottom slats that are stacked and no used to fill in your broken spots.
