I went with the filter "bypass" method and installed an external inline filter. Made a HUGE difference as mine had a bad idle and low rpm running was bad. Idling was quite bad when cold. The major drawback of this method, which I did not know beforehand, was that disconnecting the fuel line from the tank would still let a tiny bit of fuel through.
Bypass bc that is added external is way n flows better also…a paper element isn’t meant to be cleaned ovr time breaks down… waste of time cleaning when u replace external in cpl mins…
