How to Fix a High Shoulder for Good

Dr. Rowe shows how to fix a high shoulder FOR GOOD. These easy exercises will be shown in a step-by-step guide that will help get rid of an unsightly, uneven shoulder quickly.
The FIRST part will focus releasing muscle and soft tissue tightness (including muscle knots and spasms) that might be responsible for pulling the shoulder upward.
In the SECOND part, we'll focus on high shoulder stretching exercises that will release tight muscles that may be lifting the shoulder upward. This includes the upper trapezius (or trap) and levator scapulae muscles.
The THIRD part will focus on strengthening the muscles responsible for maintaining even shoulder balance and posture. This may help build a STRONGER foundation in your neck, shoulder, and upper back and ward off future issues of a high shoulder.

Hey there! My right shoulder is at a lower level than my left shoulder (probably due to doing an exercise wrongly). And my right side back pains a lot.... what should i do???🙏🙏

I found this video a number of years ago and it helped a tight/high shoulder a lot. I have returned to this video at least twice more since then and it always works. Then I don't have the problem for so long that I forget the exercises. I'm so glad the video is always here to remind me.

You have no idea how much easier you have made my life. I started working out 2 years ago. The last 8 months have been hell for me. I pulled my back like 8 times where i even had to go on bedrest for days on end and it just sucked the motivation out of me. After noticing my low shoulder a couple days back and being self conscious, i found this video through researching my posture issue and followed through the video. It already feels so much nicer you are a godsent.

@@DrRowe doctor my higher shoulder does not hurt but my lower one does. The lower one has upper back pain on the right side. The lower one also has shoulder pain. What can it possibly be. Does my upper back pain have to anything with my posture? Also, can I do the first ball massage on my back?

This is the 2nd video I have used of yours. I'm am a 48 year old pretty avid gym rat and noticed my crooked shoulders actual was shaping my chest shoulder and back muscles diff from eachother. Thx to 20 min of following your advice they are so much more equal. I will do this weekly in anticipation of perfect shoulders. You are an amazing human that shares invaluable info. @@gorav85 i personally feel like i tend to rest or lean on my other side in many different positions, which might have developed my shoulder/back muscles more on the othet side. And neck/trap pain can feel a bit dizzy

Loved this one...works perfectly, the sequence was key. My shoulder has be raised up for months now and I didnt even realize how tight my trap was for some reason. I was trying to fix the wrong muscle before so the pain and high shoulder always came back. I can turn my whole head now! lol

Hi, I just got done with most of the exercises in the video. I wanted to say that I loved the bed one especially after pulling my shoulder blade back. I haven’t felt anything like that before. I used to run in high school for cross country and I would have my phone in my hand to listen to music. I developed a crooked/raised shoulder because of that and thought it wasn’t something I couldn’t fix. This video has given me some hope, thanks for putting this up for free, really appreciate it.

This is so so so great! I thought I had issues more with my neck but recently discovered the right shoulder is my main source of issues and these helped SO SO SO much! I know this video is old but I’m a bodybuilder always dealing with the same lower trap pain that runs up my neck on the right side. Once I get it to go away it comes back about a month or two later and I notice I’m always tense on that side. I’ll have to remind my self to drop my shoulders throughout the day constantly. This video really helped and now I can use this to ACTUALLY put a stop to the almost unbearable pain it causes. I thank this man for his dedication!!!

I injured my shoulder a couple of weeks ago and my left shoulder was left higher as a result. I followed along with this video and by the end it was back to normal!

I just want to share my experience and say these exercises are the magic that are solving my issue with uneven shoulders and shoulder blades and my neck as well Just a magic I have been suffering 3 years and did these exercises and booooommmm tingling and burning sensation has gone and felt relaxed whole the body I really felt the huge difference from 2 sessions I did This is the real channel Dr. Thanks 🙏

I’ve been in pain for 3 months unable to sleep more then 4 hours a night. I am gym rat and couldn’t workout and lost nearly all the strength from my left arm. This video just realigned my shoulder and now I have no pain. You have done more then I could ever ask for in. I subscribed.

HOLY GOODNESS!! Thx soo much!!!! I’ve always been insecure about the differentiation of my shoulder height and i cant believe how easily curable this is!! I stumbled across your video, practiced your methods like only twice since i thought theres no harm in trying, and only after TWO TIMES i can barely see that high shoulder anymore!! Hi - this video is absolutely a gem! thank you so much! I have a quick question though - when I do overhead/shoulder press, I noticed my shoulder imbalance returns (my left shoulder gets higher than my right)...what do you suggest I should do to get the permanent fix on this? I should also mention that my left trapezoid feels rather tight as well when I do overhead/shoulder presses!

Thanks and here's my appreciation: 1. 15s x 5 rep Arm across lower back, head look forward & pull to other side 2. 30s x 5 rep Arm to side pushing toward ground, head look away & pull down towards other side armpit 3. 30s x 5 rep Sit on ground with towel roll on bad side & push up 4. 30s x 5 rep Do Superman position 5. 10s x 10 rep Resistance band

I had uneven shoulders and was getting an uncomfortable feeling down my opposite arm all the time. I thought about going to a chiropractor or Osteopath to check whether it may be something with my spine or joints. Then I found this video after googling how to fix uneven shoulders and thought I'd give it a go. OMG it has been amazing!! Thank you! Its worked wonders!

I’m having tightness in my left shoulder- neck area. But due to gas build up from not being able to fully exhale. I suspect my shoulder are unaligned on my left side causing compression of air.Only when i draw my left shoulder back can i fully breath with no issues. I have to literally force myself to burp at times or else i get extreme tightness around my chest. It’s unordinary, though some of your techniques seem to relieve much of my symptoms! After countless Ct scans and x-rays something so simple treats my issue. Hopefully if i stay consistent i can cure my symptoms fully.

I was just flexing anf when i took a pic of my back. When i saw the pics. I literally blew up from my couch after seeing a clear difference between my right shoulder and the left. Then this guy came in and helped instantly. Thanks man alot.

Your exercises worked for me! Thank you sooo much! Although I still have a problem: Even though my shoulders are in the same height, I have to move my left shoulder back a little more so that the scapulae are aligned. Do you know what can I do?

Could be that you had or if you still need help with this, you have, a tight chest. You need to stretch them and work on strengthening your back muscles, therefore balancing your posture
