In this video, I am going to show you four different ways how to troubleshoot an error in Adobe Premiere that does not allow you to render or export your project (Error Compiling Movie / Accelerated Renderer Error / Unable to Produce Frame)

I solved this problem rather unconventionally, after trying all your solutions on my 1 hour 36 minutes long video, I came up with a cunning plan. I exported it as 15 minutes long individual videos (by looking at the exact point in time). So I basically had 6 parts of perfectly exported videos. I opened a new project, put them all together perfectly, and exported again, it worked like a breeze! ❤️

Dear Thapan, I was having the same problem as you with a vlog that went on for nearly an hour. It just wouldn't render in the export stage on Premiere Pro. This was my first experience of such an aggravating anomaly. I tried everything offered on RU-vid videos but nothing worked until, finally, I saw your comment and tried what you suggested. Thank you for this great tutorial! 💪 A tip if you don't want that "glitchy" look on your screenrecordings, convert the screenrecording to 24 fps (as I see you exorted to) using HandBrake or Media Encoder. That way all your footage has the same fps as your export settings and you won't have "glitchy" frames. Hope that helps! 🙂

Just a quick tip that I am going to spam/comment in some video-tuttorials with this subject : I was stuck and frustrated with the ccp-814 error for many days. Then I started exporting my project in smaller sections (part1 part 2 part 3) hoping to connect it on a different edit session. And then BAM! One of the fragments/parts got the same error mesage. Then it became easy to detect the problem. It seems that adobe premiere has some kind of "sensitivity" for audio that is left even on a muted track. This was bringing the whole project to collapse. When I resolved this, everything went smooth like before! Try it.

i dont see the adobe premiere button next to file. i have a windows, maybe that's why? the mercury option cancels out certain effects which i ant to keep

Hi mate. Thanks for your video. best one on here on this topic! I'm still totally stuck. I've not been able to export my films for months now. I've tried deleting cache and render previews and changed to Mercury Playback Engine software only but my encoding is still stuck at 0%. I don't get an error compiling message. Just stays at 0 forever and then crashes when i click cancel. I haven't tried your final suggestion about deleting those Adobe files. Because I'm a bit scared of losing my projects. This is my first time editing. So these will rebuild automatically when I open the project again? It won't damage my work? And what if this doesn't change the situation? Anything else? I was always able to export my films before, to see how they look whilst I'm editing different stages. I think the only thing i've added since then is the colour correction and grade. Which is quite mild. Oh I'm using an old version of PP. 2015. Any assistance is really appreciated. My projects are helping refugees and orphans so it's so important to me and I've spent years making them! Thank you!

Hi Sammo, I am sorry to hear about the issues you have been experiencing. I know it can be very stressful trying to fix such errors. Regarding removing the files do not worry once you open Premiere again it will generate new files and create new folders and you will not lose your project. If you feel unsafe deleting them just change the folder names like I show on the video and keep them in the same folder so in case something happens you can delete the newly generated folders and change the name of the old folders back to the original name. This way everything will go back to the old files. Also as I mentioned in the video, in case you have animations imported to premiere make sure to open the application that you designed the animations with such as After Effect and try to work on the Premiere project again. Also, I see that you have been using an older version of Premiere which can also contribute to the issue since the newest versions have been optimized to work with the newest updates of your computer's Operation System. Updating your Premiere version will definitely fix lots of issues and will open doors for more efficient workflow and also you will be able to use the new features added to the application such as working with proxy files. This is actually something I recommend in especially if you work with very heavy media files such as 4k or your computer is not that strong. Unfortunately, this feature was introduced by adobe in the Premiere version from 2016 and up. I hope this will help you resolve the issue. Good luck and let me know if this helped.

@@svet9438 Hey, thanks so so much for your time and care to reply! I haven't done any animations nor any work in After Effects. Just Lumetri and transitions within PP basically. My footage is 4k 24p shot on GH4. I'm editing on a MacBook Pro 2015. I haven't updated the software since then, as I think it will make my PP CC 2015 incompatible with the latest software updates and then I wouldn't be able to edit my films at all. Same if I were to get the latest version of PP, which I plan to do when I move on to my next projects, but I've researched it a bit and it seems to be that I wouldn't be able to edit my current projects in any of the newer versions. As not backwards compatible. Is that true? I do seem to have create 'proxy files' options in this version I am using. I haven't used proxies before. Will that enable me to encode and export do you think? I've even tried exporting a number of single clips and absolutely nothing exports at all. Could it also be something to do with my CPU/GPU? Cheers muchly!

@@5ammo Well the GPU might also be an issue but I didn't mention it since you do not really run any heavy animations and since you haven't experienced any issues before with the same transition I do not think that might be the issue. I also think the reason the application closes on its own wouldn't be affiliated to the Graphics Processing Unit performance. However, GPU has been giving some issues on earlier MacBook models so the device you are using will definitely contribute to the performance of Premiere. Proxies will definitely contribute to the performance of Premiere. If your Premiere supports that definitely go for it.

Also If you haven't done it before follow the following steps. To create a Proxy file go over the media file (the video file with the animation) in Premiere, right-click, create a proxy, under format - h.264, under preset - h.264 Low-Resolution Proxy and select the location you want to save the proxy file to and press ok. Now under the preview window in your Premiere project select the toggle (icon) "proxy". If you do not see it click on the + icon to the right and drag it to the menu. I hope this will help you solve the issue. Let me know if this works for you.

I've tried to follow your steps but I don't have those files you mentioned - when I go adobe - common - I don't have a plugins folder and so there is also no mediacore folder! So I can't drag that on to my desktop. I could do the next step where you say to rename the whole adobe folder with.old. But is there no point doing that if I can't do the first step with the mediacore folder? This is a nightmare! It feel like it's my last hope. Cheers!

Did you follow the suggestion in the end of the video which refers to the animations linked to other applications? If not in case you have imported some animations in the Premiere project, make sure to open the applications that you designed those animations with the same time as Premiere when you export or render. I hope this will help you resolve the issue.

No you are fine this is mostly affiliated to the preview. Your can manage all you correct export setting in the end when you do the actual export.
