Att says my Nokia 9 purview, that came out in 2019, I purchased it in 2020, Amazon.. so I had it for 19 months.. and att tells me its a 3g phone, I also read somewhere that it's 2g phone so it will not work on the 4g/5g network.. unless there is some sofware that can manipulate it?????

If able to make calls but unable to receive calls, this should be for you 👉 I had the same problem but called the customer service center of my SIM. They gave me a code to disable 'call forwading'. I disabled it, restarted my phone, and it was able to receive calls again. So, for me, call forwarding was the culprit. You can try calling your customer service center to see if they can help with your problem!
@@prudencemashaba6101 I was about to dispose it, but suddenly I decided to give it a chance and wait for at least 3 weeks before disposing it. And thankfully it got back to normal for almost 2 weeks =)

@@richardpotorski6601 I contacted my cell phone service provider and asked them to check if the phone number, which appeared to be an old recycled number, judging by the area code, is having some problem with it. First two people I spoke with, told me that they verified the number and it is working okay. But I explained that when I tried to call my brand new Samsung from any other phone, the Samsung would not produce a ring and eventually I would reach a voice mail that gave me a recorded message that said: "The ROGERS customer you have reached, has not activated their voice mail". My service provider is NOT Rogers. So when I called my service provided again, and explained this to the third person, they looked a bit deeper into it and discovered that the number was not fully cancelled and therefore was not ready for reuse. My service provider assigned and activated a new number and agreed to give me one month credit. No more problems.
my Samsung Galaxy S9+ after closing the AT&T account - we went with Consumer Cellular but phone won't record phone messages, won't call out and won't return text messages once received.

One of my contacts can text me but when they call me they are sent directly to voicemail. I have checked multiple times and her number is not blocked. Samsung galaxy s7 texting works wifi works internet works. What is happening phone shows bars and lte wit wifi off.But when you try to call out the phone service bars and lte disappear after dialing starts and then the call is shortly dropped and the bars and lte come back. I have changed the sim card with no difference. I have put the old sim card in a old phone and was able to receive and make calls. What do you think of this?

I got a text last night saying our SIMS no longer work. I talked to CS again, and they said I could go to the store and get a new Sim for the phones. I was told the same , so I went to the att store they inspected my phone they put it in a mode where 3 different bar code came up so with the IME number and the info they got from the bar codes they determined that my phone was a 3g phone and would not work with a new sims card, but before I went to that store I had a conversation with att rep over the phone and they scheduled to mail me out a new sims card , so I'm waiting on that to determine my fate

Unfortunately for me it did not work. I have to take my battery out to get my sim card out. I still can't get or make calls. I have called my provider and they tried multiple ways to make it work, but still not luck.
