Hi I bought a 2015 KHS Sixfifty 2500 bicycle. The person who sold it to me made a modification to make it an Ebike. He cut off half an inch of the side of the disc chainring. The bottom bracket is not threaded, so on one side it has the stop ring and on the other side it doesn't. Can you give me an idea of what I can do, if you have a bottom bracket for this, Thank
Excelente video gracias, solo note que a la hora de montar los espaciadores del plato creo que primero era el más ancho en el plato y luego el de aluminio(porque así los desmontó)
The fact that you pressed the cup with your hand 06:15, probably means that it does not hold its dimensions?. I think you would need to use an oversized Token bottom bracket there.
Press fit BB, inventing of wheel again but on different way. I prefer threaded ones and they are awesome, easy installation and no creaks. The Zitto BB looks great
@@NiceBikeService search for Hambini on YT Guy a doctor for BB-s and he is producing them and various adapters, but they are very expensive, for Pro cyclists maybe OK, but for me way too expensive.
Great work. I really like that zitto bottom bracket. I know the Shimano ones I've replaced were plastic. I know they creak when they start to wiggle in the frame, even if they're made out of aluminum. That zitto threads together to make a completely solid bb. I wonder if it would ever start to creak or wiggle in the frame. Do you know how the bb is doing in that bike? How many miles so far?
@@NiceBikeService yeah I can imagine, but I said that based on the information I got from the video. Often times bearings are not always great but we're talking a few watts even if they're rusted some cheap lube will make it work good enough for these guys.
3:50 Please dont do it that way. You can clearly see that the bearing doesnt come out straight. If its hammered out by only tipping on one side, it comes out at an angle. That can damage your frame by widening the BB Shell. 6:00 the BB is way too lose. You made it even worse by greasing the BB. Grease is used on moveable parts, but you dont want your BB to move in the frame. Your BB is slipfit, not pressfit - maybe because you widened the shell by hammering the BB out. If its that slippery, you have to use loctite 609. All in all not a good Job.
Бачу що повертаються старі технології. Чашки pres fit використовували в велосипедах "україна" "минск" " аист". Пригадую коли вперше побачили bsa каретку дуже зраділи що нарешті небуде технології запресовування. Але бачу все циклічно повторюється

Hello. Try to find a bottom bracket that tightens into itself, similar to the one in the video but for your cranks. Such bottom brackets are also called Threadless Cartridge Bottom Bracket or repair bottom bracket
