Can't wait to try this. Am getting intermittent hot air from driver side vents while passenger side blows cold. Have replaced the dual heater control valve with no effect. Is the passenger side blender door motor the only one, or is there one on the driver side also?
David i have the same problem but on driver side its a little cool and on passenger side side my ac blows hot air. If you have fixed your please guide me as well. Will appreciate. Thanks
any update? my 2008 jaguar s type is blowing cold air on driver side vents, and hot air on the passenger side vents...i already replaced the climate control valve and the touch screen seems to be working...
1 thing i noticed about this car since having it is alot of little things that break can be fixed better then original just by doing a little thinking. Ford missed the mark on some simple designs. Can you help with some ideas on how to fix the gas door latch? The plastic catch on the door broke.
Great video man! My mechanic was working on my car trying to fix what we think was the little door that opens and closes to let fresh air in or recirculate depending on what you select. He disconnected a motor or actuator that in a picture he sent me looks like the one you are handling in your video and he said when he unplugged it, he thought he heard a servo actuate and after that, the car will do nothing but blow hot air. Any ideas? 2007 S-Type 3.0. My son is an Audi mechanic and he ran some tests and said that the control unit where you push the buttons to control the climate control seem to be working fine and we also already replaced the heater control valve. He said that we are getting a defrost code And a blend door actuator seems to be indicated as the problem. Can you offer any thoughts or suggestions? You seem to be knowledgeable about these cars and the heat and AC systems on them. I would greatly appreciate it, sir.
Good aftersoon S Perez, I was ablee to access this specific blend door actuator and verify it is indeed stuck in the OPEN position....could this be the cause of hot air blowing on the passenger side front vents when my AC is on? Drivver's side iss blowing nice and cold, I've already replaced the DCCV but havent replaced the touch screen bc it seems to be working... any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!!

Its ok. Some mechanic told me need to change the condense and valves. But when i did computer check it gave me this error. recirculating air flow door actuator. Mannankhan Khattak I had the same issue you’re having now on one of my Jaguars everything was working perfectly so what I did I order the AC panel replaced it it started working right away my friend those AC panels go out on jaguars for some reason what exactly they start doing blowing very hot air extremely hot air, Sometimes they will start Blowing cold from one side other hot from other side, long story short I replace my AC panel fix all the issues
