Thanks, I promise I will edit it soon as well. Its very amateur but I guess its better than nothing. To this day I still do this once a month when it pops back out.
What an informative video! My braun 9 suffers from the same defect. No machine is perfect, and this little bit of maintenance saved me a lot of frustration and from having to shop for another razor.
Wow and double wow !!! 18 months ago my first series 9 had both the centre probes stick down and I immediately bought another as they’re the greatest razor I’ve ever used (started many years ago with a 3 then worked up until now). So just yesterday my new one had one probe stick down and I thought wtf there’s got to be a fix for this, pulled out the old one so I could try any ideas without fear and went googling which bought me here and yahoo, half an hour later I now have TWO perfectly working 9 series razors. I’m truly grateful thank you. Cheers from New Zealand !!
I use Williams Electric shave and pour a small amount onto my palm, makes it easy to apply without mess or waste. I agree the scent is not the best, along while ago a bottle spilt in my car trunk, I never could the smell out!
Just wanted to tell you that the Gold color bar on the shaver head always goes to the front side of the shaver this is info from a Braun tec and I see you have it to the rear. Maybe you know that but seeing the way you show yours in the video I just taught I would tell you, I found your video very helpful because mine was stuck to and not easy to get it to snap in but after a couple of try’s i got it, I’m not a Braun Tec but the info I put in this is from one.,

То, что Вы показали со штырьком на series 9 - это просто позор. Series 7 выполнена прекрасно и надежно. Она ремонто-пригодна. Я разобрал полностью где-то 40 штук series 7 и я в восторге от series 7. I am using braun series 9 9290cc. The fifth cutting blade (foil) that's the last one that faces towards the back side of shaver is actually going downwards than the other blades. Can you please help me and tell me how to fix it? Thank you very much
Not sure 🤔 I think I would have to see it. So one of the foils on the edge sinks on its own? That’s could be because of no support but maybe the cassette is broken. Have you tried another cassette to rule that issue out?
@@sevenking5224 ok so it’s the same issue as I was fixing but I can only fix the 2 middle ones. The outer ones on either end seem to be siting on a spring and it looks inaccesible, this might requiere to disassemble the entire head to fix. I have done this with an older model and it’s a pain and I didn’t put it back together. I advise to pay a service center or contact Braun at this point.
My braun series 1 150-s suddenly stopped working while i’m using it and right now I charged it for about two hours and still not working can someone help me please? I need it asap so please respond to me
Alexander pulvinar I would not know how to help you with that. Don’t know if its still under warranty, if it is contact Braun. They will send you a small temporary shaver while you ship yours back for repairs.
