HOW TO FIX/BYPASS PS5 ERROR CE-108255-1 | CALL OF DUTY BLACK OPS COLD WAR CRASHING AT STARTUP 

UPDATE!! UPDATE 1.07 seems to have fixed this error code for cod only. Not sure about other games. Try updating to the new patch and see if it works for you. For those having the issue even with the bypass, it might be a different problem. Sony released an update but wasn't for this problem. If you can get your hands on another system, try that one and see if you have the same issue. If you don't then it can be a console fault. Also try restoring your licenses in the account settings. Try another copy of the same game. Check your language settings to see if its set in the right country. (Worked for some)

Nice video man. I posted a video about this as well. It seems that this error code is wide spread with multiple PS5 titles. This work-around you did seems to work well with Call of Duty and some games. But there's still a lot of gamers where it doesn't work and hard crashes still. I've also had people report that the network off trick is a temp fix and it crashes during matches at times. Sony is no where to be found on this issue. Lol they will not make a statement about this officially it seems.

I thought i had the same issue but even with connection off it doesn’t work and i tried it rn and it literally shut down my system

For me personally, turning off HDCP in Safe mode to 1.4 as well as heavily reducing my screen resolution to 720p ACTUALLY unglitched my Resident Evil 2 Remake game.😊👍

I thought was my hard drive acting weird because this PS5 was bought a month ago and now all of a sudden I'm having issues trying to play a game and it keeps saying something went wrong with this game

Guys if it happens when you die in the game then try to reach the next checkpoint or level without dying and it will re-work normally.

I tried this it didn’t help mine. Mine freezes as soon as I click on a game mode. Once I click on a game mode it freezes.

Had error code CE-108255-1 happen on demons souls today been working fine before that hopefully a patch can sort this issue out

Guys I had the same problem. I changed the ps5 language and after this my game crashed every time. Ich changed it back to normal and now it works fine. I dont know if this was the problem but for me it worked

I think this might be a Sony problem because this has been happening on my PS5 but when I got it, my PS4 started becoming slower and started lagging more often so I think this might be a problem within Sony’s database but they’ll probably release a software patch for this problem like next month

I’ve tried everything and it shuts my ps5 off fully. It crashed my system and I had to rebuild the data base so I just uninstalled it. I will wait for Sony to fix it. Waste of time and money for the game.

Guys the solution is to go to the game library in ur ps5 then download the ps4 version of the game works fine no crash

For me it dont crash on the menu multiplayer but when its others map than moscow or satelitte it crash... i did all update and install everything for cold war, but can’t fix the issue.. can only play 2 map 😂

This just started happening to me 2 days ago. It’s only on Cold War, to bypass it I usually have to try about 8-10 times and it doesn’t crash. I have played it for like 5-6 hours after and no crash. It’s weird, I hope it doesn’t start doing this with other games

Just got my PS5 today and I have this message for every fucking game i'm playing. Just impossible to play more than 10 min...

Still have the exact same issue after todays patch. Game is getting returned. Also this fix doesn't work anymore. Pushing square to go online and nothing happens. Can't even select any of the menus.

this is if Sony obtained by China. I have only problems if I play a PS5 game, if I play a PS4 game doesn't matter if WarThunder, Cod Warzone, or gta5 it runs with no problem! Other question: do you realized if you charge your PS5 controller it always shows 1 of 3 batterie even if you charge it for 3 hours!

Mine gives me the same code but usually when I'm playing zombies and today at round 49.. needless to say I was pissed. Never stopped me from playing just freezes suddenly and you better hurry up and unplug your headset or you get a nice screech too

Update for me on this issue, it seems to just be my Activision account causing my playstation to crash, if i switch users to a another Activision account, it loads up fine with no crash, so hopefully Activision can fix this issue

Mine shuts off while playing and cuts my ps5 completely off

My issue is that its not downloading the whole game completely and wont go online. It says its going to take 13 hours to download. But all other games are fine to download and play.

Same problem with watch dogs. I tried your method and it did not work I finally got it to work - *** I renewed my game licences ( it in the settings somewhere ) I also just deleted the save file ( also buried in the settings )

I’ve same issue but you're method doesn’t work for me I I tried by this way :I opened manage game content and I delete Dead ops Arcade and language files I don't know which one is the problem then I launch the game and it start without any error now I'm reinstalling dead ops file again I'll see if I still have same error or I fixed it by this method if u still have same error try to delete some files and reinstall it again maybe it will help
