Hey there man... Question for you... Have you ever done a fuel filter because I can't find mine and the diagrams I can find online are showing it in certain places that it is not... I have an older model of the same car you're working on now 2003 hyundai xg350 L... I've replaced the fuel pump and the camshaft position sensor like you're doing here and it just runs for a bit then stalls out ( at idle and at speed both)... Could you let me a hand and let me know your opinion.. Thanks for your time and the video ✌️
OK. So I'm getting a P0335-powertrain Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit code. I had the sensor delivered to the local O'Reilly's and got to it following your directions. I got the two 10mm bolts near the timing belt off as instructed. I followed the wire back up and managed to detach the other end. That's when I realized my new sensor didn't match the socket, or the sensor you used! There appear to be two sensors. The other matches mine and attaches way further down on the engine. I'm not sure which, or both, that I need. I can't even FIND the one you replaced when I search for it on Amazon or O'Reilly's. (EDIT- I found one like yours on Amazon and ordered it, They seem to be much less available than the other one) Any clues what's up? EDIT 2- DOH!!! I realized I was confusing Camshaft and Crankshaft!! My code is for Crankshaft, so it looks like it'll be a tougher job. You made a very informative video nonetheless!!
@@غدرالدنيا-س2س I don't know exactly, but I believe it's the same as on a 2000 xg350 or 300. I think they all used Mitsubishi Sygma engines, but the 2000 may have been a Delta.
So i have a p0016 error after i let an idiot put in a new alternator and he damaged crap good which i had someone else fix ( timing belt water pump my new radiator had a big hole punched in bottom of it and now it starts but it says TIMING MAY HAVE JUMPED A TOOTH . So does the alternatpr have to come ofc again and be RE ALIGNED PROPERLY since obviously he didnt bother marking it and I was hoping the cam shaft sensor might Clear that error code ? Or am I just sol and have to pay more labor to have the repair REPAIRED and have to tear it down again to realign everything correctly like THE LAST MECHANICS who did my alternator the last 2 times ( rack n pinion axle bled all over it a year after i had a shop put it in ?
@@bigcliffproduction7607 Thanks again, sir!! It looks like a POA on this car, but this should help. I wish it had been done when I had the timing belt and water pump done a couple years ago. The car has only 60K and is generally solid.
