Hi, I have a quick question. I have a rather large bittersweet that I believe is dehydrated due to transit. The large bottom leaves have dropped (they are big leaves), but not dropped off the plant itself. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and have it in a clay pot. The color is good on them, they feel soft but wrinkly and no life to them. Do you think its dehydrated? I also have a Domingo thats large and I recieved it 2 days ago and its the same way, the bottom leaves are large so they just fall but are wrinkled with no plump or life. Any suggestions?

yes it’s case of dehydration…. dehydrated leaves will be soft ,wrinkled but not transparent…they says the succulent is dehydrated another sign as you said it has colour that could also be a sign of stress due to dehydration

The bottom leaves of my succulents are wrinkly and they keep removing faster.. is it because of under watering?

@@shahnasalam4606 oh ok yes that’s due to dehydration normally it’s the lower leaves that’s start to fall first as the succulent is try to save the water which is left in it’s leaves so it will start dropping the older leaves In overwatering the lower leaves will turn yellow and transparent but will be soft and mushy and In underwatering the lower leaves will be soft with lot of wrinkles but it won’t be transparent Transparent only when the leaf has absorbed too much water 😊

Sorry I wasn't active. I'm not in good mood and have lost interest even in plants. My most beloved pet passed away this week.. 😭I can't get over it... I've lost interest in everything cause I miss him so much... 😭

@@LushGardener oh she's so close. We didn't do that cause me and mum were there alone at home... So we told one of the person whom we know to do that.... He took my pet far way and buried.... I miss him Do you think he is safe??? 😰😰

haha thank you so much for watching ….. yes it’s all about patience…so what I do is I keep collecting more plants so I don’t need to look at the same plant in that way my mind is diverted and it’s left alone and it does well ….when you have just one plant you tend get nervous and get Impatient and keep looking at it ….but when more plant you kind off divert your mind ….so I think that’s what’s been happening to me and it’s working well 😂
