On this episode of JAKES CHOP SHOP I show you how to do body work super easy and fast! All products and tools used in this video can be purchased from THE BODY SHOP PAINT SUPPLIES
That's bloody funny - I taught shit loads of ppl in the TuTone booth at Holden - masking up for repair work, or Calais trim etc. The amount of paper and plastic that ppl fuck up pulling from them machines - always a laugh! Shit sticking to itself when you have 2-3 meter lengths pulled off - trying to stick it, precisely, to a car that is rolling down the line - bloody frustrating until you get used to it. Brings back memories.
Thanks Jake. Its normally overwhelming when you look at a paint job. Doing it that way rather than stripping the whole car makes a lot of sence. Thanks again. Lookimg forward to the follow up video.
Such a good video be keen to see the next steps right till the end learn so much from them. Ill be going back to watch the one where u painted a motor and give it a go on my 308
This guy knows what he is doing love ya body work I this builds, little trick I use if the paint is dull or in primer I’ll use prepsol to get the reflection and see how the panel looks and if I have missed something
Pretty much now days as being a qualified panel beater because I’m lazy I just give the car to my mate the PDR specialist let him glue tab and pull all the dents with his little glow lights and PDR push rods all the dents out no bog needed then I block the whole car out panel by panel and anything he misses I repair before epoxy primer seal it all up and then hs primer and paint
