Hey Jake, just tuned in but I am in awe of your shop. Plenty of space, I'm trying to get my shed up with a hoist and start a resto on badly rusted cills, trying to save my great old work ute. You have motivated me now! Thanks
You are absolutely bloody brilliant at explaining your strategy mate. Best ive seen yet. I have an HQ ute in need of alot of this work and this vid is gona help me heaps. Chrz and keep them coming.
Pretty much now days as being a qualified panel beater because I’m lazy I just give the car to my mate the PDR specialist let him glue tab and pull all the dents with his little glow lights and PDR push rods all the dents out no bog needed then I block the whole car out panel by panel and anything he misses I repair before epoxy primer seal it all up and then hs primer and paint
De oxedean don’t do shit only rust converter that works is wurth looks like milk goes black and the only weld through to use is copper spray by UPOL otherwise your wasting your time
Where did GM Australia get the inspiration for this design: At the rear, the 1969 Chevy Bel Air. From the front, a combination of the 1971 Chevelle, Monte Carlo and Nova. From rhe sides, the 1971 Impala. And I like it a lot!
Mate I just want to say thanks for taking the time to record and upload this video. My hx has rust in all the same places and as a novice on the welder I've been looking at it thinking where the fuck am I even going to start with this... Your tip around breaking it down to piece by piece, panel by panel has helped me now come up with a plan of attack. Thanks again, you have a new subscriber 👍
