You clever guy... You know something, this is the first video out of hundreds that simply shows me what I wanted. Well delivered, simple easy answer, no ridiculous not pertinent info. Direct and to the point. Brilliant
If this works for you then you are very fortunate that your system has only suffered a soft crash requiring a hard reset. I've seen a good number of laptops that use USB-C PD as their only means of powering/charging the laptop, and if they don't spring back to life using this trick, it's frequently indicative of a fault in the laptop's power circuitry. I was hoping this video might have any level of insight into that kind of issue, but it seems increasingly likely I'll wind up having to make such video if it's to exist... Cheers for helping the average user with a deceptively simple problem at any rate!
For a minute I thought my laptop was dead, keyboard not working and not charging. I still can't believe that the fix was really that simple as long pressing the power key. Thank you sir! Saved me a panic attack
Much appreciated, just had a 2 month old laptop randomly with the same issue, this fixed it. Thanks, I thought I was going to have to send it back to the manufacturer.
My laptop would charge using the my sister's supplied AC adapter using the barrel jack but not with my usb c one. When this happened to her laptop she sent it back to lenovo for $60 shipping where they factory reset it. I didn't feel like doing that so I listened to a video telling me to hold a button for 20 seconds. Then IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EGAD IT WORKED! Thank you so much! I have a Lenovo Laptop from 2020 and this tip worked! Thought I was gonna have to call tech support and spend money. Bless you! 🙏🏽
Thank you so much lol. I thought I was gonna perish but you just said hold the power button for 15 to 20 seconds, I did so and Jr actually worked. Thank you once again.
This worked for me! I left the Dell laptop charged last night, took the charger out, the computer showed 100%, used the laptop for 3mins then the computer showed 54% did what the video said. And my computer showed 100% after it was reset. Thanks bro!!
Thanks a lot. Really helped I was so stressed with exam coming up and all my study material was in the laptop. And all of a sudden it stopped charging a real nightmare but solved with simple 15 sec press.
If anyone wants to understand : Hold power button for 10 to 15s until the laptop itself does some vibarate or shows any kind of colour and leave it untill it opens and boom it will charge
Thank you sooooooooooooooo much, I really thought I actually broke my laptop💀 but thank to you it started to charge again Thank for the BEST TUTORIAL EVER ❤
Can't believe it worked! FYI - I noticed that supposed charging issue happens when I put my laptop to sleep when stop using it instead of shutting down. I suspect that this drains out the battery completely hence can't charge... So if you don't plan to use your laptop again in the next few hours - shut it down instead of putting to sleep!
Wow! Thank you for this video, I've been worried for more than 8 hours trying to get what's wrong with the charger but within seconds that I watched the video, it started working
Bro thank u so much I bought a new charger to fix this and it worked only for a few weeks but when I tried your tutorial it got fixed that you so much again!
Thank you so much…this worked perfectly. I tried almost everything from troubleshooting to updating the drives and nothing was working…my case was different in the sense that the charging light kept blinking and the charging sign was always on even when the charger wasn’t connected but when I connect it, it doesn’t charge…but this solved the issue…you’re a lifesaver 🤗
oh my god i have an acer swift edge 16 and ir had two charging ports which one after the other both stopped working. this video saved my life thank you
well, it worked for my laptop! i did press and hold the power button when it was on, not sure if that made a difference. ah well, i just hope that when it happens again (it comes and goes), this can reliably remedy the issue. thanks!
