Thanks so much! My 10-year old machine has been spewing milk and I was on the verge of taking it to the tip and buying a new one. I'd tried to remove the spout, but it was stuck fast and I assumed it wasn't meant to come out. Your video gave me the courage to persist and now I have a lovely, non-leaking, machine again. Brilliant!
I was just about to order a new machine when I found this video. It definitely needed a good clean. Totally clogged with coffee residue. You have saved me £30. Thank you 🙏
I too was just about to order a new machine but stressed to see that my Tassimo is no longer available in Canada - & me with my $100 worth of pods on the shelf - when I found this video. It definitely needed a good clean. Totally clogged with coffee residue. It's like new now! Well done, Matt.😄😄
Thank you, Thank you, Thank You !!!!!!!! was 1 day away from going in the bin and buying a new one. Did not know that you could remove the piercing unit we had never cleaned it in years and it was totally full of crudge and baked in coffee grounds just spent the last 30 minutes scrubbing and scraping it all clear now that I have figured out its a simple as just pushing it up and out of the machine. Put it all back together and working like brand new. Thank you!!
My machine was leaking badly. At least 7 years old so thought time for a new one.. Was online looking for a new Tassimo. The two machines i saw where either going to cost me £60 or £128...... then I thought before I buy I’m going to google the issue....your video came up. Did exactly as you said and now my Machines running like new. It was clogged up with old coffee like you wouldn’t believe. Gave everything I could see a right could clean out. I think the water coming out was due to back pressure and the water was coming out the overflow tube below the cup stand/holder. Anyway, no more leaks and the coffee appears hotter and frothier. That’s a beer I owe you so thanks for taking the time to make the video. 👍🏻
Thank you so much! I haven't been using my Tassimo for ages coz of this fault, what's weird is when I dismantled my machine as shown I found no coffee inside the spout and could see light through it, but after pouring water through it and putting it all back together again, I have a working machine again, don't know why but still happy it works! Thank you! 😀
@@realmattjc Hi Matt, it's weird, coz the 2nd cup of coffee I made, it started spilling everywhere in the middle of the cycle again, I checked and there's daylight through the nozzle and no signs of anything blocking the water, so maybe mine is just on it's way out, I've had it at least 7 or 8 years so I suppose it's to be expected.
@@PapaLazarou1977 Use some descaler and the cleaner disk Use a long press to put it in clean mode I did this twice and voila it worked thanks to Matt and patience
Me too was about to order new after coffee and milk going all over the place, you save us a new machine ty. followed your tip and it was totally blocked
My machine is leaking from the bottom. I descale all the time and yesterday I descaled without prompting me to descale, cleaned it really well but still leaking. I checked to see if there was a crack and there was none. I take care of it well and I am so disappointed because they don't sell the coffee machines here in Canada anymore. The t-discs are so expensive and now have about 5 new packages that I cannot use and don't know anyone that has the machine. Most of my friends bought the Supreme Keurig. I don't understand as Bosch is a good brand name. :-(
Sorry to hear this. Some previous commenters have had the same issue as you but mines never had that problem….. yet. To be fair, I’ve had this machine for years now and it’s still working so can’t complain too much myself. Certainly cheaper than buying from a shop or machine but I’m equally guilty of that on a regular basis. Love costa!
Like everyone else, I was wondering where all my froth went. Came across your solution and voila, froth again. How did you come across the solution we all missed?
Hey there and thanks for the feedback. Mine was spilling out everywhere and as I was about the throw it I just noticed the possibility of splitting it down by accident really. Quite lucky. It was destined for the bin 😂😂
Thank you so much Matt, I was just about to take a screwdriver to mine and searching youtube for a dismantle vid. Such an easy fix, my machine is seven years old and used daily so you can imagine how bad this part was !!!. Now it is like new again !.
If it can help, be sure to clean it Thoroughly (using toothpick or the like...) or it may not work. Listen to Matt's instructions -- you must see the light through the tunnel! :-)
@@nevillebonner6244 They do say in the instructions to never ever use vinegar, though maybe they aren't referring to white vinegar. I wonder if you can use citric acid?
@@realmattjc Yeah tried it but still coming out the little hole at the drip tray, what's the point of this as I have disassembled .Even thinking could be a leaking water tank, this has only started in the last month and a half is it time for a new machine ?Any help would be Awesome
Mine isn't like yours, it does not come out, I have to push a thin bottle cleaning brush inside it but it is not clogged up. All that comes out of the machine is a lot of steam and water.
Much as I hope this works for you but in the case it doesn't and you wish to buy a new one, here is a link for a new machine on Amazon - amzn.to/3NR3Xn9. Also if this video has helped you out please help me by subscribing today. It really does help the channel.
Hey all, just wanted to say thanks to all those that have given this video a thumbs up and indeed subscribed to my channel. Funny how this upload is by far my best performing video considering it was one that I put least effort in to making. Mad stuff. All the best for 2020.
