thanx this helped a lot even tho i was looking for a answer to my problem i took the time to watch all of it just in case if i run into more tvs with different problems and just to say that the video was strate to the point and interesting to watch great job and work.
for all of use thats red light flashes but doesn't show any picture or sound the problem is the TV is in stand bye mode, usually referencing an issue web search turns up capacitor issue on motherboard, suggest checking each capacitor for damage and voltage, if not for you then a new main board might be in order (or TV if cheaper)
My LG tv has a red light as normal, it randomly went off as as I was watching tv. It goes on standby as soon as I press a button on the remote it flashes and goes off. I’ve tried so many methods, it’s not even that old.
I had just a red light with nothing happening as I tried to turn on my lg 42lg50 tv the problem for me was the power button / Remote sensor went bad all I did was reflowed the solder on the connections reconnected everything and it worked

I have a LG KDL32VS19 if I but it and it on if I now unplug it, it won turn on again and wont show light indicator until all the power stored by the capacitor is drained den it I now plug it will on and of by itself after some time or hrs Any possible solution??

Hi aju mathew, disconnect all external devices and when turn on tv then unplug tv power cable from electric source. After 5 minutes later plug in tv and recheck the issues. If not work that’s mean hardware issues. Incorrect voltage supply from psu or main board. However please check first method. Any difficulties please let us inform and subscribe the channel. My LG LCD shows white light , when i press the power button nothing happened. I tried to replug but no response sometimes there is red light and it on and working normal.
here is my problem, electricity went off on my home power outage, then the electricity came back but something happened to my LG TV now red light with black screen, electricity is the cause of my problem 100%, what can i do EDIT: i fix it by following RU-vid advise, unplug your TV power cable then remove the batteries from your remote control wait for 1 minute then plug your TV back then put the batteries back in your remote now press the power button in your remote your LG TV working again!! worked for me, if this didn't fix it for you then again unplug your TV power cable one more time then plug it again quick don't wait just plug it right back it will work
Our 37LE5900 has started having issues. It can take between one and eight attempts before it comes on. Pressing the on/off button on the set or remote causes the illuminated buttons to progressively light up to the LG Logo, which stays lit, but no picture - eventually after repeating this several times it boots. Seems more common when the set is first switched on after being off over night. - Any ideas
This is my problem as well, so I disconnected the roku, (the drain of the roku) but now I use dish remote and t.v. remote back & forth , 10 seconds between attempts and just give it time to decide to come on. The problem does seem to be low power, I was hoping for an easy fix on here, na-tha lol

Hi I have a lg 42pq300-za and when you turn tv on the red light goes to blu and nothing on screen. So I've taken back off and disconnected the YSUS board and the now only the tv turn light is staying red...but once connect the YSUS board the tv click and stand by light goes red and then stay blue and nothing on screen. I have a problem with my LG tv it works for the most part but when I’m doing anything like watching Netflix or playing games a black screens comes up and turns off the tv, I used to get it to turn on again by unplugging the cord in the back of the tv but now when I do that it doesn’t come back on
This is such a stupid problem never buying a lg tv again.... 6 years old and it shits my tv will work for maybe 30 seconds and then boom no dispaly and the red light keeps flashing.... then it comes back and sometimes stays on for even 2-3 hours this issue is recent and annoying
Hi, my 55 inch LG tv has no picture, I tested the voltages on board all good except the backlight one half of the voltage what is should be! Is this coused by bad backlight or PSU? Thanks
I followed your video to the end. the problem i have is that when I try to turn the TV ON with the remote, it does not turn on. If I unplug it from the power source and plug it again, the main screen with the LG logo comes on and stays there, nothing else. I checked the power supply and the output voltage is 10.4 V instead of 5V as shown on the board. Also the same 10.4 V is read on the other end of the harness that is plugged to the main board. All capacitors look good. what can be the next problem? LG model 50PA4500-UF (AUSLLHR). PSU #EAY62609701. thank you
Hi konstantino, thanks for your nice support. Due to incorrect voltage supply from the psu board that is happening. I think it is better to change the faulty capacitor or IC from the psu or main board. If possible please send to service Center. Because it is not so easy to replace the parts. I have an LG 55UF6450 and I tested the power supply and it says 3.38v so I’m assuming it’s doesn’t need to be replaced and my main lights turn on and the lights for the standby works so could it be the timing chip in the center of my tv?

my lg 60 inch suddenly wouldnt startup like normal. my stanby light continues to blink a few times, stops...than repeats. once the tv is first plugged in i can see a very faint lg symbol than it goes away. any ideas?

If You Have Xbox Or PlayStation Go On Settings Find Customise Power Options Scroll Down To TV & A/V Power Options Then Tick Console Turns On Other Devices And Tick Console Turns Off Other Devices Restart And You Should Now Be Able To Switch On/Off TV By Using Xbox Controller 😉

Hi, it there a way to replace mainboard and change some chips to adapt the resolution. I have one 32 " tv with standby issues and the tv wont turn on. i must try 100 times to power on and one time working. I ordered the same mainboard EAX66085703 model but from wrong tv 42" . The new motherboard working good but i have distorted and overlapped picture. I changed the tv size but there is again distorted picture on the display. I will try to change some chips on the new mainboard to make it working with my 40 inch tv. Do you know wich chip is for the setting and the resolution on the mainboard. my TV is LG 40UB800V and new Mainboard I ordered is 49UB8300-CG , 55UB8300-CG Model EAX66085703 the same mainboard as mine in the 40UB800V Thanks.
Hey there. I'd sincerely appreciate it if someone can offer help maybe relating to this unusual situation regarding my LG G2 OLED tv. I returned home yesterday (prior tv was working perfectly I would expect costing nearly $4k) and to my complete suprise the television turns on for nearly a second displaying webOS and then automatically shuts off. I can't seem to find anyone that has experienced this issue on RU-vid which concerns me more. If anyone has ever had this problem or knows anything about it or how to fix it I'd sincerly appreciate it.
Turn tv on , on the back a red light is. Turn the main power on agreen light comes on then turns off. Meanwhile a blue light is flashing at the on in lower left lower front corner .
Hi alex berger, incorrect voltage supply from psu or main board issues. Identify the faulty part via volt meter and replace it. Hopefully this will solve the problem. Hi Alex I disconnected the cable line and plugged the tv in separately. The fuzzy screen came on and the sound also. I then reconnected the cable line and we got the tv back to life. I think we had pushed so many buttons that the tv had to reset itself without the cable attached.
Have a LG Oled model #lgoled65c8pua That does the same excluding the recycling of on & off, but does have stand by light, backlight flashes and clicks when power button pushed then clicks once more followed by powering off itself... someone please help, it's less than 2yrs old smh 🤦♂️

My LG will power on, but only after repeated attempts. Red standby goes away and nothing happens. Wait for red standby to come back on and try again. Eventually, it'll turn on with red standby flashing 3 times then startup. Weak cap???
Hi please unplug the power cable of tv and wait 5 minutes. Then recheck the issues. If same problem thats mean hardware issues. You need to repair the faulty capacitor on board . I had the same exact problem once and I found out that by placing the black wire on the multimeter on a piece of bare metal inside the television all of a sudden I would get all kinds of voltages coming out of different places
I have a LG monitor 24MN33 it was working fine but when I want to sleep I switch of the screen with the power button touch screen (no button) on themonitor but from few days whenever I open it back it was going black and I was unplugging wire like 2-3 times it worked but it wasn't opening at all after all the thing I tried it's been 2 hrs u kept it off and I plugged it back the red light just on and goes away ffs please help it's not opening
When ever it wasn't opening on first power button I pressed it goes black and then when I replug the monitor it still goes black sometimes but it comes back and loads my pc hdmi but now it's just completely black and the red light now even showing 🙂
I have one board for my 55EG9100 with a standby light, but it is unresponsive to pressing the power button and a second board that responds when the power button is pressed, but turns/clicks on and off twice and then the light turns off. I tried replacing the EEPROM chip on both, but the same issue persisted on both. Any ideas what I should replace next? Can you explain how to test the chips viewing the schematic? I'm trying, but I don't understand it.
I have 3.5V reaching the main board from the PSU. However, in the event it helps anyone, I did have another T-CON connected originally and all voltages were reading zero. When I powered off the TV, disconnected the T-CON from the PSU, and turned the TV back on, the stand-by voltage returned to 3.5V. I do not know if doing so damages anything.

I have an LG plasma tv that stopped working one day. Red standby light is on, when I power it on with remote, it blinks once and does nothing. No picture no sound, nothing. I took it apart and tested the voltages, to the main board (17v) standby (5.2) vs (206) and I don’t get these values but when I turn the power on, it jumps to 17 for a second before dropping again, same with standby jumps to 5.2 then drops, and Vs is only 0.7 and only jumps to 1.4 ish. Never 206. If I unplug the cable from the PS to the Z sustain board, the tv powers on, I have sound from cable tv, no video, and all mg voltages are correct (17v, 5.2 and 206v). If I do the same and only unplug the cable from the PS to the Y sustain board, same thing audio no video, all voltages are accurate. If I have both cables from the PS to the Y sustain and PS to the Z sustain unplugged at the same time, same thing, sound but no video, and correct voltages. It’s only when they’re both plugged in that the tv doesn’t power up, no sound of course and voltages are only correct (for most) for the one second when you hit the power button to turn the tv on. Does that mean either my Z sustain or Y sustain is bad? Or something on the power supply related to both of them together? I have no clue what to test now. All capacitors look fine, I tested fuses they’re all good.
