Chevy Traverse water leak! Car problems! Chris noticed that our Chevy Traverse was leaking water in the front passenger side footwell and the rugs were soaking wet! He figured there was a problem with the air conditioning condensate drain and he repaired it all on his own, saving us a ton of money. Hopefully this will save you a ton of money too! Thank you so much! I was able to fix my issue in 5 minutes. These companies need to make better drain plugs. Mine was clogged and a similar issue on my son’s car but his was drain plugs for the sunroof. Great video and explanation!

2014 Buick Enclave with the same symptoms. I laughed when you talked about the noise when turning left, ours made the same noise. I told my wife she could only make right turns or not use the AC. Thanks for the video.

I'm having the same exact issue with my 2011 traverse. I went out and looked at everything today after watching this video and when I detach the tube from the floor there was no water in it. So I guess in my case water is not even making it to the train but I could tell you on the passenger side it's pouring out. I guess I'll have to get like one of those bottle cleaners way up in there and see if I can unclog this thing

Your right I'm having the same issues now i bought a 2012 chevy traverse and it wasn't the smartest place for GM to put a water evaporate cover or whatever it is.

Thank you so very much for posting this! I just bought a 2011 Chevy Traverse and I am having the same exact issue. I just spent 30 minutes looking for any drain and thought I should check RU-vid! So glad I did! I'm heading out to see if I can fix this before going to a garage!

Again, thank you. The valve was clogged and upon removal I drained close to 1/2 gallon of water through the tube. Removed the clog from the valve and re-assembled it in about 15 minutes. Took the cover off of the passenger side and there was close to a quart of water in it! Took the Traverse for a quick spin around the block--doing left turns, and no more squeals!
