Lmao my own sub started rattling as soon as you showed your problem, so I couldn't tell if it was mine or yours. It sounds like the spider is unglued in my sub. Gotta fix it
Mine had a rubber gasket between it and the metal package tray support, I ran foam rubber weatherstripping all along the rear bottom of the tray itself. Used stick on chair leg pads to the high spot rubs on the tray padding itself. Reinstalled. BUMPS FULL ON no rattle.
I just installed two 10-inch KICKER Comp R's in my pickup truck they sounded great for the first 5 hours or so and now one of them has a distinct rattling noise when I push my finger on the cone the noise goes away so I'm suspecting the voice coil is defective so they're going to swap that one out with a new one
That, my friend, is a ratchet. I’m assuming about 70tooth, though we’d never know. All kidding aside, If the ratchets teeth don’t catch (clicking) than it’s very little torque for those bolts. Consider a higher, say, 90+ tooth count for those types of situations. Or just spend a dollar on an open/closed wrench? If it were jammed or busted, , all the more reason to upgrade
Askaly 1st time my gf drove my 7 series & she blew the sub under the passenger seat. Sounds fine when I push on it. Sounds like a rock in an empty soda can otherwise And i know there's a way to actually "fix" it... This vid ain't it🙁
