How to fix RUST crashing when joining a server I 2024 Tutorial 

my problem was that i had too many clips clogging up my storage and didnt realize, check if your storage is full where the game is downloaded

why hasn’t anything worked I’ve tried so many videos already the second I’m about to load in to a server my game just crashes 😔😔😔

I need help man this update keeps crashing an slow load times take manager says 87-98 memory used buh not on any other game buh rust plz help if u have the time.

my drivers won’t update. it says it just failed

None of those worked. It crashes when the loading gets to "spawning world" stage, it gets to about 17/11000 or so very slowly and then crashes. UPDATE**, I don't know which one it was, but I did two other things, 1. downloaded Rust SDK on steam, and 2. launched an official server first, which didn't crash, and then launched a modded server that crashed before and it worked fine.

Nothing changes, still facing same problems

Alright if your still having trouble with this then I just suggest you to upgrade your RAM. That’s what I did and now it’s actually running lmao Get a 16, 32, or 64 GB RAM stick. I got a 16 cause I’m basic as shit and plus 16GB or more is the way to go for a smooth gameplay. Anyways I hope this works for anyone else 😅

Okay found a fix, close any other tabs and lower your resolution.
