Replacing shift linkage to help eliminate the slop in the shifter. I used the linkage from a 92-95 civic but it was about an inch longer. I shortened it and welded it back together. The plastic-like bushing that is in the front of the linkage wore down after 369,xxx miles. As you can see in the video, the new linkage has significantly less movement in the joint.
My wagon was getting stuck in 5th gear and I was hoping this would help but it didn't do the trick. It looks like I have some internal transmission issues. I may try to rebuild it eventually but for now I'm going to leave it alone. I can always get it out of gear as long as I start doing so before fully depressing the clutch.
