I always pad on enough for a small discount, but I find that many watchers are resellers that are looking for deep discounts. Only a small number of watchers actually respond with a purchase.

Happens pretty much every summertime. The retail cycle can be brutal in the summer. Then add on top of it this year everyone is scared with inflation skyrocketing, gas prices high, stocks down, ect. I think everyone is guarding their expendable income and people aren't spending as much. I use times like these to list more. Then come quarter 4 in the months leading up to Christmas, things really start to pick up. Hang in there, sales will pick up before you know it.

Follow-up question: how much of a discount do you advise when sending an offer? I almost always have an active promotion of 5 to 10% off everything; when sending offers, I shoot for between 15 and 20%. Maybe that's too steep of a discount?
Hey this is a good tip Justin. I have been sending offers for a while & yes they do work. The only precaution is, for Sellers to be aware, if they have a coupon also running at the same time, the buyer will also be able, to use the Coupon in addition to the offer you send.
Your teaching new people stuff, sellers should know how to send offers to likers...this is on the front page when logging on unless sellers are using cell phones only to sell on ebay.
Thanks for adding that! Sorry if I went to fast for people that aren’t familiar with the offer system. eBay can have a learning curve and some features can be harder to learn than others. I try my best to keep every eBay user in mind, but I’ll also try to remember that a lot of people that watch my videos are brand new to eBay. Thanks for the help!
I still dont know how to only send offers to buyers I only send if ebay lets me . I send coupons like once a month but offers no i am not allowed top rated means zerolololololol
Hi Justin! New Subscriber here as well as a newbie reseller! If you don't mind, I have a question regarding the Seller Hub. On the normal My Ebay, there was an option under your active listings where you could switch between "ending soonest" and "ending latest". Is there an option like that with the Seller Hub? I've done several searches trying to find this answer and no luck. I appreciate any help you can give. Thanks! ~Wendy
Hey Coach - I have received a payment notice from EBAY to pay for charity donations that I thought were spam until today. As I was listing an item charity donation of 10% showed up that I did not sign up for. I went on =line on how to stop it and it won't let me out of the situation. I see where others are complaining about this too. How do I stop it? Do I have to call Paypal? There could be a chance it was accidental that I accidentally hit the donate button...but I don't think so.

Because they have sent me a message regarding their cancellation policy and it says "cancelling a transaction and selecting a false reason to void a defect isnt allowed." What should I do?

Hmm. That's strange. How long have you been selling for? I know that eBay gates some capabilities with new accounts. Maybe that's the reason? If not and you have been selling for a while, I'd try calling eBay to see if they can unlock the feature on your account. They're usually pretty helpful with things like that. @@CoachCommerce You go into "Listings > active > then check what items you want to send offers for. Then click "actions" or "sell it faster", then click "send offers". This is the way to "manually" send offers if for some reason you're not seeing it in the seller hub. They still have to be eligible though I believe. You can't just send offers all day long.
