This faucet is BWE Waterfall Bathroom Sink Faucet.(Link:www.amazon.com/dp/B075ZJQF29) Tools Needed:Adjustable wrench,Hexagon wrench,needle-nose pliers Note:Please close the valve before starting.
I followed video... 2.5 mm allen wrench is used... I just used a finishing nail and put a clean hole through center of that green plastic piece. Worked for me.
The procedure that our precious client wrote for us after trying it out is as follows: Remove round hot\cold water cap below handle. It pops out with finger. Using an allen wrench, loosen the nut and remove the handle. Unscrew round collar by hand Unscrew Nut with wrench Remove cartridge. It pulls right out Look inside faucet and you will see the small flow restrictor at the base. It is recessed and flush with the bottom. It has a tiny black o-ring. I used needle nose plyers to pull it out. You can clean this with toothbrush or a safety pin. Make sure all the small holes are clear. Replace everything in reverse order. If you get leaks after reinstalling, check for the alignment of cartridge, gasket is in place and metal retaining nut is not cross threaded. Make sure to align the cartridge correctly. There are two small nubs that align with faucet. There is also a 3-ring gasket on bottom of cartridge that only goes in one way. If flow is still not great, remove the tiny round o-ring in the flow restrictor all together. Hope it helps.

Oh my gosh! I've been searching for days to fix my issue with the Hot/Cold handle version of this faucet. I was just about to break-down and find a plumber that could take a look at this... but then remembered that the end-cap (where your water handle is installed) unscrews from mine as well. -EXACT- same problem. I don't understand how this gets so gummed-up, with the in-line filters....but whatever. Problem solved. :)
I mainly followed this except I took the little black rubber stopper/gasket thingy out of the green part and cleaned each part individually. Then I put them back in and the flow was back to normal.

that tiny little aerator with a tiny little o-ring is def a bit of a design flaw. The faucet worked great for a few months, then water flow slowed down to a trickle. I removed the o-ring since doing that seemed less drastic than making a hole in the green aerator, and now the water flow is just fine. In fact, had to restrict water pressure under the sink because the flow was so robust. If the designers address the aerator/o-ring issue, it's really a lovely faucet, especially for the price.
Hi, Thank you for your valuable advice, we will continue to improve our product according to our customer review. Any further questions in the future, please feel free to contact our After-sale customer service. Best regards, BWE Faucet
That's very true !!!!!! What cannot happen is me (u s all) having to disassemble the damn thing every 5 months for "regular oil change and tire pressure" ..... i ended up disposing of the problem by throwing away the o-ring and the lill strainer..
Just my hot water is slow. I took the cartridge out, put my hand over the top, and turned the hot water line on and still just a trickle coming out. Cold water has enough pressure to blow my hand off the top. What could I try to fix the hot water side?
This was fantastic, I bought 4 of the BWE faucets on Amazon about 7 months ago and on 2 of them the water pressure kept getting worse and worse, I followed the steps, and poked a hole in the green piece and there was some improvement, so I took it back apart and poked the whole middle of the green thing out and now we are back in business. On to the second, I figured this one isn’t as bad so I’ll do the small hole again, again small improvement so back to big hole. Here’s the $64,000 question - what is that little green piece called, and where can I order a backup? I know I will eventually need to do this to the other two, but I’d rather do it knowing I have a backup so I’m not holding my breath the whole time hoping I don’t break it. Thanks!

I followed this video and after reassembling everything when I turn the water supply back on water pours from the faucet AND from the handle. I saw some comments mentioning an O-ring, which could be my problem, but I don't remember removing one and cannot find one. Any ideas what I did wrong?
Hi, If it's convenient, could you please provide us with video(email:sales@bwefaucet.com) so we can hel p you check as soon as possible? Hope it can help you. Best regards, BWE Faucet
Hi, BWE have professional Allen wrench to open the handle. You also can find the smallest Allen wrench in toolbox. Hope it can help you. Best regards, BWE Faucet
I am here from the Amazon questions. I purchased two of these and they both started to have very reduced water flow at the same time. I actually did what the video shows before I knew this video existed. The little green piece is perfectly clean and the O-ring is there. If I remove the O-ring the water flow is way too much. If I put it back it goes back to barely like it was originally. Did this little O-ring stretch out? If I slightly lift the handle I get a little better water flow, but if I open it some more it reduces back to a slow flow.

I bought one of these and the water flow slowed to nearly a trickle. BWE replaced it for me and now the new one is doing the same thing. There is something wrong with these faucets! I would like to fix it by drilling the hole discussed by others, purhaps a video of that?

I had same problem. I believe the little o-ring compresses with time, restricting water flow. I followed Joseph Mores advise and used a finish nail to put a hole in the center of the green plastic piece. Worked great. Hope this helps.
I can not get the large black ring under the handle so that I can get to the cartridge out. It is if it is stuck. I have tried a rubber pad and still it will not move. Any suggestions?
Hi, A profession tool is included in the package(Small seven-shaped hexagonal wrench). You can try to use it to remove the handle and get the cartridge out. Hope it can help you. Best regards, Chloe

Should we have to do that much work on a $60 faucet? It is poor workmanship. We did all this as well and still little hot water flow. Should be fixing this at factory level. Ot the consumer level.
I believe the little o-ring compresses, restricting water flow. Try drilling a small hole in the center of the green plastic piece? I just tried it and the faucet now works fine.
Hi, Only clean the green o-ring flow regulator. If your have any questions, please feel free to contact us by email:sales@bwefaucet.com. Hope it can help you. Best regards, BWE Faucet
could not remove the aerator as in this video. I removed the tiny black o ring sitting on top of the aerator and the water flow is great! Don't buy these faucets, they are junk!
