I was able to loosen the nuts with my hand. Thanks for this helpful video. I really thought I was going to spend a day having to dig up the manifold and replace individual valves.
Hi Awesome video! I have a zone for the flowerbeds that won't turn off. Long story,, but I want to keep that zone shut. If I cut the wires to the solenoid, will that valve stay shut? Thanks a ton and hope you would respond to this. Jay. 🙏
If the ground is saturated either from the weather or a leak there will be water in there. Use water tight electrical connections and fix any leaks, and it should be fine. Thanks for watching.
Should have flushed the system before putting new diaphragm and cleaned the area where the new diaphragm sits Pumped the water out too Just little details
Question what if other zones are trying to turn on but for some reason one zone stays on whole time even when u disconnect the wire to the timer and still running? Cause its switching zones from the timer but that one zone stays on?
I have 4 stations that run in sequence at 15 minutes each. When #4 is complete, #1 starts the whole sequence over again. What's going on? I've cleared and reset the timer....date, time, how often, run time, everything.
The valve is the low point, it would have taken a while. There wasn't any visible dirt getting into it. it wasn't nessasary its been years now with no problems.
