Thank you for taking the time to teach us how to replace the power switch in a Dyson vacuum. Honestly, if it wasn’t for your video, I would have been forced to take my Dyson to a vacuum shop. You saved me about one hundred dollars and a lot of time. By the way, I have a Dyson DC27 and your instructions helped me to quickly fix the switch. Same exact vacuum and issue. I took it apart thanks to your video. No physical damage found, but it seemed the button became stuck. I clicked it a few times, put the cover back on, plugged it in...and it worked. I appreciate the video on how to get to the part in question. It truly helped! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

This is exactly what mine started doing before it started shorting (sometimes would turn on and sometimes wouldn't) and now it won't turn on at all. Thanks for the video.
