How to Fix The Wavy Beard!!! 

I've had a beard for 40 plus years, but recently it developed 'the wave', no idea why, and I was beginning to despair, but then I found your brilliant video. You've totally saved my beard! Many, many thanks!

Yep, this is my biggest problem. The hair on my chin curls straight under my chin/jaw line then curls back out making a massive wave under my chin and the hair on my neck curls upwards in some weird way. Ughhh.

This video is legit. One thing I have learned from bearding is that it can only be tamed once straightened and this video provides that step. Some here are talking about over washing the beard, over conditioning, and over taming. If the beard is conditioned and oiled daily, you'll have a beautiful beard that is healthy and desirable. For those haters who think having a beard that looks like your crotch is on your face because it's "natural," good luck with that. The rest of us will continuing bearding on and attracting beautiful women who appreciate cleanliness.

This is the first video that actually makes sense. I have very fine and soft beard hair, it's as soft as any other body hair, so I have a huge problem with wavey hair.

Thoughts on using hair spray for extra hold? I work outside and sweat a lot causing beard to get wet and curl back up, was thinking hair spray may help prevent this? I already use oil and balm

My beard has developed a really pronounced unwanted wave which totally ruins its look, especially from the front. So bad I was contemplating losing the whole thing. Watching this video I have been doing literally EVERYTHING on the 'don't' list right down to buying the silly little narrow barrel brush. 😆 Hoping I can now fix it and confident I can as this guy really seems to know his stuff.

It worked/ helped me! My beard use to twist out!!! Looked stupid! 😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬 But, like the man said, just a few tricks and it can really make a huge difference! Hi Scott! I really need your help , my beard is about 2 months and 3 weeks and since the last 2-3 weeks in the right cheek zone (only the right , the left is enough straight) it started to be very wavy, i tried with all my tools, brushes , combs , hair drier , wax , conditioner , balm , oil but nothing it remained wavy, it's very frustraiting and when i look myself in the mirror i don't like my beard at all...what do you suggest to do?? what if your hair is naturally curly? Like the hair on my head curls after it grows over 2 inches long so my beard hair also gets naturally curly. I don't mind my head hair tbh and like and curls but i would like my beard to be straight.

My problem is my beard it too fluffy. It's thick, but the hair is too soft so it just wants to poof outwards. My beard is an inch or more longer than it looks due to this. Drives me insane.

Hey Scott, would you recommend those barrel brushes for someone growing out their beard? Recently I'm trying to grow my beard longer and I think it's at 1-inch in length but curls/waves like crazy under my jaw.

Great video ! As usual... But it does not work on my beard. It works perfectly on the bottom of the beard but not on the chin. Dont know why but on my left chin there is no way to straighten my beard 😠😠😠

i would disagree on the on point because it seems like when watching the video, the right side of your beard cheek line is way lower and way shorter on the mustache than the other side. can't take my eyes off it, espeically since your other videos they are always on point.

Kind of weird. Men have had beards since Day One, and shampooing and brushing is fine. Only metrosexuals give a damn about conditioning, oiling, scenting, straightening, curling, spraying, coloring, highlighting, plus whatever the hell else it is that they do to them. Most men like beards because they don't have to shave, or because they or their other halves like the masculine look. Turning your beard into a version of a fru fru poodle dog that lives on your face and needs constant attention is kind of insane. By doing so you are no longer a man with a beard. You're a beard with a man attached to it.
