I bought the bad kit once. But only because i needed the enclosure for the cham (one of the breeders i was talking to, i got into a conversation aout how nobody gives the ladies any love unless theyre breeders since they arent as colourful. She sent me themale i wanted...and a female for free that nobody wanted. Without telling me she was sending two. So i had to do a rush job on a second enclosure. At least i always have a large tropical selection from cuttings and i have a stash of spare everythings except enclosures so it really wasn't hard just anoying that i wasnt forwarned). I cannibalized the rest for other things. I needed the hood for a different lizard (one side was a heat bulb, the other a heat emitter for winter during the night). The fake plant and vine went into a series of christmas ornaments with little (not actually real) chameleons inside with all the greenery suited to a chameleon. The reptile carpet i used for my nephew's school project. And the uvb i used as a backup bulb because i do have some reptiles that use that particular uvb...just not my chameleons.
Hello, I had bought this kit and other supplies to try to accomplish the humidity and comfortability of my chameleon before seeing this video and I’m stuck! I had bought a heating pad to use under the cage (elevated of course), the carpet with substrate on top and misted by hand, and a shower curtain around the cage to help with humidity. Then I bought a ton of fake plants which my chameleon has not tried to eat that I know of yet. The petco worker told me it was about 6-7 months still a baby sort of. I want to know if the HEAT LAMP that came with the kit would be good to continue using once I get the T5 UVB lamp? Or will I need to eventually get the one you recommended? Thank you so much for your content! 💗🦎
I am wondering about the new zoo med chameleon kit led xl it is 24x24x48 the correct size but has an acrylic door would that be bad for a panther? Screen on other 3 sides?
I don't know what kit you're referring to, but the Zoo Med XL LED enclosure is safe to use with the acrylic door. I think you'd be better off buying a separate plant LED light that is better than the one that comes with that enclosure.
I got my chameleon 2 days ago as a present with this kit. Ordering the necessary supplies minus a new cage. I can get the new cage hopefully by friday i will be devastated if anything happens to yoshi ://

Hi! So I was watching a few of your videos, and I was wondering if you think the reptibreeze 24x24x48 terrarium that you have in your kits would be good for an adult crested gecko! I plan to convert some of the sides with plexiglass but not sure if it’s a good option for it or not
Oh thanks alot and sorry for not searching your channel before asking, I never thought you could have made video about that 😂 Searching for her .......
@@NeptunetheChameleon one of my chameleons is freakishly smart and has figured out both the enclosure lock, the bolt lock I installed, and is now attempting to figure out the combo lock. Hes been at that for a few months now and hs figured out the spinning part just not how to spin it correctly. There's only two places he goes when he gets out. Across the room and up into a particular enclosure top to stare at the lady inside. Or into my bedroom, up my bed, and demanding I feed him right now. You know that weird hissy sound they make when they're well and truely annoyed? Now imagine waking up to that at 7:15am inches from your face becausei had the audacity to try and sleep in. He also taught my two youngest how to get out but a simple bolt lock keeps them in now. They aren't very smart.
