Definitely works. There are endless videos on how to adjust the tension on Andis clippers because access to the tension prong is right under the blade. But there aren’t any Wahl videos because you actually have to remove the housing to adjust the tension. So great video!!!

Thank you very very much. Very helpful. I removed the tiny screws and the plastic, had 4000 grit wet paper to sharpen, but after I got it back, none of the combs would work. I discovered your tip and took a closer look. the springs were (how the head attaches on the left and right) we're a bit off kilter too. I carefully prayed on them with the screwdriver and lined up the speed tensioner, and..... butter.

Thank god I found this video. I was frustrated that the top blade was severely misaligned but thanks to you now I know it’s the tensioner. Saved me from buying a more expensive set🦧

I wasn’t having an issue with snagging, but i dropped my clippers without the cover and it made that silver prong tilt to one side, like yours. So the blades weren’t sitting straight when attached. Luckily i came across your video and tried what you said and now my trimmer is super powered. Thanks man
