Thank you so much for this. I have been struggling to fix this. I changed php code files, rewrite rules and what not. This was a simple and easy fix to do.

My brother you just speaks/spoke ENGLISH LANGUAGE. How simple this is with your explanation. Very Brief & Clear. Even the deaf can under your explanation. The rest channels make a VERY LOUD NOISE but failed to explain it the way you do it. THANKS A MILLION. Am going to hammer the SUBSCRIBED BUTTON Now, hope I wouldn't get it broken....

Thanks. That fixed it. I just chose Post name and added a name for category and tag and Saved. Also Purged cache because I have Litespeed Cache.

What about pages that are already developed? Your video helps in setting the permanent link for new pages that's great but I did not find info even in the description about the existing page settings any help would be greatly appreciated thanks for the video.

Hey Elmer, good question. This broken link/404 error will only appear on the page that's broken! If you followed the instructions in the video and you're still getting a 404, check to see if the page was deleted accidentally as a 404 usually means the content can't be found. Hi Luis, if you just signed up and created a new domain name, some features might not be activated yet until domain propagation completes. Takes DNS anywhere from 24 to 48 hrs for propagation to complete. You should be able to access HostGator Portal and cPanel. Contact Live Support anytime if you need more help.

The htaccess file will create only once, unless you or the script modified it (such as from an update to a theme or plugin). Hi Bergerak, it's always recommended to download a full backup (files & databases) before starting any major changes. The description in this video has "Check out the Knowledge Base Article" displays other options.

I have3 hosting plans in HostGator, 1 Is a baby plan for 1 year, 2 is for a baby plan for 1 month and the other one is a Hatchling Plan, then I registered one adon domain and added it to the Adon domain of the 1-month baby plane, letter I removed it from the 1-month baby plan of the Aon domain and added it to the 1-year baby plan Adon domain, since then I can't access my website, please how can I restore my website back, please help me out please please sir please

Double check the domain and make sure you're pointing it to the correct package and nameservers. Just adding the domain to the Addon domains section of the cPanel doesn't route it to the correct place. It depends on what you're seeing when you type that in. It could be a multitude of issues. For example, if the wp-admin page is taking you to something like a 404 page that looks like your website, there's a good chance one of your plugins (likely a security or url changing one) is not set up correctly and preventing your access.
