The actual fault is, RU-vid is too slow, Netflix 4K works fine , if I download a 4K test it runs fine. My internet connections is fine, typical not under 500Mbps but usual 800mbps so fast enough. RU-vid has grown over the years and that a problem.
My connection is 850 mbps. RU-vid barely is loading in 144p right now. Netflix 4k works perfectly. I have no idea what other methods I can use to troubleshoot. I even updated my graphics card driver.
@@rmunoz1994 I’m having the same exact issue. I’m running speed tests getting 1000 up and down but videos keep buffering even in 144p. All other sites working fine like Netflix, twitch, all that. This website sucks.
RU-vid used to ALWAYS buffer so it would download the whole video without pausing. Then they thought people weren't watching entire videos so they put brakes in to stop the download causing pausing. There was this great extension that worked on firefox just about 3 years ago before youtube all went to pot that would force the entire download. I'm suffering from this problem now.
I can't tell if RU-vid has become appallingly bad for this recently or whether I have a duff video card driver update or something. YT is almost unwatchable for me the last few weeks.
For me, sometimes the videos will just stop loading, after starting to buffer, on a fast connection, and then the videos stop playing. Then I'll open up a different video and it'll play just fine. That literally makes no sense.

1, setting youtube resolution used to work, but no longer. It keeps resetting its self to the 'auto' mode, without your approval [and this keeps happening, no matter how many times you attempt to place it where you want it] and this also resets the video cache [throwing out any currently stored video content in the cache], meaning it will either start from the beginning, or wherever it first decided it wanted to change your setting. 2, the browser I am presently using was not listed by you, and is one which is all-player-compatible, and yet it still has this problem.
I just downloaded the latest edition of Adobe Flash Player. Buffering problem has completely stopped for ALL of my you tube video movies. THANK YOU. Such a simple fix

Hey Bro. one could have the falsest internet in the world, and still have buffering, on You Tube, as I explained in my post above, RU-vid refuses to give us the video codec needed to play hi res hd and 4k videos with their video player, that is why I stream my videos through vlc player, with a codec package I download online on my pc. plays 4k and 8k flawlessly. The problem all along has been lack of right codecs to play the videos. Regards!
Rebooting my router system helped. I have three of the M5 Deco wifi mesh pucks throughout my house, all of them hard wired. The first one on the system, connected to my modem is the router for the system. It had been months since they were last cycled through a reboot. Whatever router it may be, I've found it's always best to reboot them regularly. Maybe once a week. Rebooting the modem now and then would be a good idea as well. Then of course keeping the cache and cookies clean on the computer, or other device, as already stated in the video.
I only seem to have buffering issues on a particular youtube channel. Update. yep. it was the usual culprit ie hardware accelaration, Thanks for reminding me about it.☺
Whenever i go into full screen with high res, after a few seconds it starts stuttering and the annoying thing is it becomes solved if i tap the screen, and then it returns after a few seconds again
I started having this problem after my computer did an update. Connection was good. I deleted cache and browsing history. That did nothing. Somehow there was two Ad Blockers running in my extensions. I turned off the one that wasn't showing in the browser bar. All is good now.

What a miracle, this was the only video i was able to play for last 24 hours without buffering, always gets stuck after 10 seconds, but thia video worked till the end 😂
Doesn’t work only if I turn is off and on in my iPhone I does the same thing as loop loading screen every time I click videos too many times and I messed up
OMG step 5 fixed it within minutes...even less HAPPY NEW YEAR.... I cleared out all the history, browse, ect earlier ...did a restart and then youtube was S L O W W W the curser was going in and out and the voice was scrratchy.....so many symptoms that never happened before I cleaned it up :/ Anyway, SOOOOO happy you did this easy to understand video. My step 5 wasn't exactly where you have yours b ut I did find it and it worked. Mine was off and I turned it on and did the restart button next to it. Thank you
I don't know why or how but I think it was my gpu causing the issue for me on my laptop. I was monitoring the gpu use and while the video was playing it was at 6% or lower but when it was buffering slowly the gpu went up to 45-46% and stayed there until it was dong buffering then would drop down to low percents for a few moments then buffering again shoot up to 45-46%. I just ran DDU in safe mode and reinstalled the latest graphics driver now its running good.
I haven't finished the video-- it's buffering-- but I did try clearing the cache. That managed to make things worse. I can hardly wait to see what else I should do to solve a problem I did not have one year ago on an older computer. Okay, why would I go to Chrome settings when I'm not using Chrome? Suffice to say, nothing here worked for me. For now, I will assume something is overloaded and nothing you or I can do will resolve it.

I wish this explained why it's buffering on the Xbox App or on the Google Home hub (so not cache issues) and videos plays fine - but music (solely audio) buffers once, every single track.
Same, thought I was going mad. Only _two specific_ videos, the buffer-limbo occurring when I try to loop/replay it without refreshing the page, even when I have minimal tabs open, plug-ins disabled, and video quality lowered, but other videos function at high qualities just fine. Sending feedback doesn't function and breaks the tab until I refresh the tab. Internet speeds/connection is fine, looking it up or asking my more technologically-inclined friends brings up nothing.
