Hey bro just be careful with the car. Apparently 2006-2009 the American made Honda civics came with a aluminum block that is known to crack which means you’ll need a new engine. Trust me I have a 2006 honda civic lx and unfortunately I needed to swap the engine for a JDM one. Hopefully the original owner got it replaced in your car before the warranty expired on it.

Im currently residing in the Philippines and the counterpart of that coupe here is a gas eater. It runs 6km/L lol. Why is your coupe so fuel efficient?
I’m not sure why it would be less for you in the Philippines! The combination of a light car with a small 1.8 liter engine is a recipe for a fuel efficient car! I do know that we measure gas mileage differently, maybe that’s why? We do miles per gallon! You do Kilometers per Liter right?! Thank you for watching all the way from the Philippines!
@@gabegsgarage30 mpg to Km/L is 12.75 km/L. I think it's the road conditions that's affecting the gas milleage. We don't have that much wide roads except toll-ed expressways then the civic fd (counterpart sedan) would reach about less or the same of what you're getting but for everyday city driving it would just 14-16 mpg.
@@Champagnepipa That’s crazy to think! Even in the city it’s only 14-16? That’s pretty bad 😭. Well you may be right, because most of my driving or driving in the U.S. is on the highway so the mileage is better going 60-70 miles per hour!
Well if you buy a salvage titled car from auction, you would need to fix the car first and then get it inspected at State Patrol inspection and then when you register the car you’ll get a rebuilt title!! But some damage like “flood damage” depending which state you live in won’t allow you to register such damage. So be careful on the state regulations! Also on Copart if you have a membership most times you don’t need a dealers license. Where I’m from here in Washington/Oregon most of the cars all you need to purchase a car is a yearly membership! This is why we should always double check when buy a flip car. If a car is flip my advise is to stay away from them. It is the same as someone cleaning up a flooded car and reselling them. They don’t try much to fix the engine issue and mainly just focus on making them ‘look’ better to sell them at a better price. I do like watching the videos of car flipping and car detailing. But in terms of actually buying one I will just stay away.
Yeah I understand you bro. Honestly I think rebuilt cars, or “flipped cars” get a bad rep. I work at a dealership and have seen many cars that are “clean title” cars and many “rebuilt title” cars are way more solid from what I’ve seen. As far as flooded cars, we can’t even register those in the State of Washington but some states do allow that. As far as fixing the engine this car I’ve had for a couple of years and it’s never had any issues. I keep the regular maintenance and I’ve put so many miles on it. It also depends on who’s rebuilding the car. I make sure what I’m selling is solid, and when I buy from auction that the damage is purely cosmetic because that’s the reason why cars are totaled anyways by insurance. I think it’s preference at the end of the day but I speak for myself! 🙏🏻
