I was planning on mentioning deleting your Bohemian culture brigades but because the revolt never happened in my game I forgot to add it.

I just recruit all of my bohemians into irregulars stacks and send them to conquer India

@@arisaka233 YES i did, i love it, but i think it used an old version of DOD because of Persia and the fact the Ottos doesnt have all of its Desitions. Still, really good

@@KarmaTheNarrator23 although for some people they dont like the mod because there are too many events, i prefer it because i got tired of the default DoD scenario being the same every game

@@arisaka233 Personally I prefer normal DoD. Fan fork has its merits like in Japan but they completely railroaded Arcadia. Literally every game as the Belgians plays out the same. On top of that you don't even get to annex Vinland when you form Arcadia because fan fork creator messed with the canon so that its only a plantagenia-belgium thing, which is really stupid imo. I also don't see why they had to change China and Russia. A lot of fan fork is a waiting around for an event to happen so that you can actually progress through the intended path. Also in a lot of nations theres a huge oversaturation of flavor in earlygame but nothing in lategame. Like the Incas, you can basically conquer South America by 1855 so the only thing you can do is mess around in Asia and Africa, and you don't even get the scramble cb anyway so you barely get anything

It makes things easier but it's less of a hassle to just btfo Scandinavia by luring them into attacking

It's not that hard, form HRE, loose to a democratic revolt, you have Germany

@@thegreatchipman yes, so what happens is you get the tag of the German Provisional Government or something like that. You get events about what sort of republic you want to be which passes reforms accordingly and then you have an event where Bohemia secedes as a kingdom under the previous emperor. Then you tag switch to Germany.

This is what remember wrting to your reply. GFM is good if you want to play major tags and do fun formables and decisions. GFM runs a lot slower than ccHFM by the late game which is something to consider if your computer isnt great. I personally think GFM is too easy for expanding, I would rather have challenge. ccHFM almost never crashes for me and it runs faster which is why i mainly use it for my videos.

@@Smooved ok cool, thank you. I will probably give GFM a go to mess around in but one thing I have enjoyed about ccHFM so far is how tough and punishing being aggressive can be and how carefully you have to plan stuff. It feels very grounded, unlike say hoi4.

I played as the USA and was stuck with the democrats. Because their military policy is anti military I was forced to only use 50% military spending. As a consequence of such low spending my army stagnated at around ~120 brigades making me remarkably weak for a country that big. Not paying your army is terrible, only do that if absolutely necessary.

I didnt really go over my budget after the first war, but one of the first things I did was fully fund my military spending. I only lowered it for the first few years so I could have a large amount of money incase the war lasted longer than expected.

Its not very common for that to happen in the first 5 years but if it does happen before the war just restart.

I did it by conquering minor asiatic nations to the south, Crimea, Sibir, Kazan etc. Once your a GP sphere Novgorod. Scandinavia offered me an alliance early. I then picked pieces off of the PLC over a twenty year or so period.
