Lore: After the brutal battle of Misk which saw a total humiliation of British armies, during 1937-1938, a civil war lead by Communists easily defeated (although with much scorched earth on the monarchist side) British guards due to the monarchist's incompetent leadership The Polish-Lithuanian Empire, infamous as ever would be brought down from their hegemonic position in world politics after the death of Smooved III, with the subsequent wars being one of the most destructive in world history. At 1939, Germany and Russia began an invasion of Poland. France, seeing a chance to reclaim their former territories joined the war, opening up the western front. The UK, despite their bitterness would be too exhausted to join another war, the tragedy of 1935 still looming over the footsoldiers of the army, lowering their morale. The Eastern front would see Polish troops taking defensive positions, although new German armour would challenge the defensive advantage of the old wars. Germany, with help from German partisans would retake Kongisburg, with their superior navy destroying whatever the polish cobbled together. The Russians would not see as much success as the Germans, as they would be stuck in old WWI strategies. Although they had found out how to utilize gas, they were still much behind technologically from Germany and Poland. Poland would end up making quite an expensive offensive, utilizing their planes to push to the Kiev river. They would then maintain defensive positions, seeing a continued offensive into Russia too expensive for what it was worth. In the Balkans, Austria and Hungary, seeking revenge, would join the war on the German's side. The mountains would prove to be a challenge that their meager armies could not pass however. Romania, being promised Russian territories, would support Poland in this war, with them pushing Hungary until German support arrived. The Dutch, still angered over their previous wars which resulted in a colossal humiliation would join the war in 1940. French troops would flood into the Netherlands, with Wallonia being encircled. The French would try to counterattack in Westphilia, as the Germans had made various breakthroughs in the south. At this point, it had became obvious that both sides just needed another great power to join in order to capitulate the other. The UK was still recovering from a civil war, the US was neutral, Spain and Portugal had little reason to join, with them being broken empires anyway, and Japan was on the other side of the world. Italy however, could be convinced to join.
Italy was a wild card though. It was clear that the Italians had ambitions to control the Mediterranian, with them being quite aggressive towards Greece and the Ottomans, seeing them as weak targets. Getting Italy to join either side could spark the Ottomans to join the other.
Am I the only one who enjoys the weird shit the ai does I don’t want every game I play to turn out the same but most people seem to want that that’s boring to me
A lot of the time in vanilla victoria 2 the ai does the same weird shit every game, which also gets boring. If the ai does different random shit every game it's fine by me.
Friend, I'm unable to unify Iran since basically the dual monarchy puts everybody in their sphere, what should I do? They are even stronger than Scandinavia
One way to avoid the dual monarchy joining against your wars is to wait for them to be figjting another war against a great power. They will be too distracted to join the side of an unciv nation usually.

I wish they would remove that white stripe in the flag it looks very odd and I personally dislike it also I wish the HRE either used Austrian or just the German unit models for they just use the generic and it looks odds IMO
