Great info as always cc. I currently have a usb flash drive hooked up to my 4k. I have a 1tb external that I'm thinking about hooking up. Crazy how quickly a 5gb firestick can get filled up. I know you always say to keep at least 1 gig free on a firestick.

I bought the 2 TB Seagate drive that you recommend and the external powersupply. I plugged it into my 4K Max stick had to do the format twice. The drive shows up on the stick but I can’t move files to it. I tried Plex like you showed and nothing. Do I need to pre-format this drive before I plug it into the stick? What should I do now?

My 4K Max stick is basically full, (less than 1G avail.), which necessitated this adding of storage that you have helped me to set up. The stick is still sending me low storage messages and stops viewing though, even after I am completely hooked up. In "Manage Apps" do I have to click on offload to free space on the stick so it works? Should I do this with several apps? The 2 TB external is still showing as empty. Will the app then be gone from the home screen? Thanks again for your assistance!

I have one of the original fire sticks which doesn’t seem to be working the best, so I was thinking about upgrading to the 4K. However, I believe somebody said that I would have to download all of my apps as if I was starting from scratch again. Is that true? I am an older person, and this seems daunting, thank you

The app for my new Tablo 4th Gen DVR loaded automatically to my external drive, but was very slow and unstable until I moved the app to the fire stick. Will aptoid solve this? Also, do you have recommendations about disabling the new fire stick offload option?

Hi. I used your link and got the Seagate 2GB HDD, followed your instructions, but the hard drive is not recognized...no pop up to format. Please help!

Connected the Seagate 2TB drive but get notification from Firestick that drive is corrupt, press enter to fix. Pressing enter does nothing. Any suggestions? Can I format the drive on my Mac to FAT and then try it or should I just return the drive?

My Fire TV is asking if I want to "Format (my external hard drive) to Internal Storage." I'm confused.

Followed instructions precisely but all downloads still go to the internal storage and, they can’t be moved to external.

My firestick 4k Max doesn't have a Movie's & TV section under all categories, I am up to date as well

Bought the one on link says its corrupt I guess Im out of luck?
