@@koronicking949 im about to take my mattress outside to try this lol. im learning other parkour/freerunning moves as well so i think its just the confidence that i need to develop for myself to do this.
1) blocking (legs ahead of you before jump) 2) throw arms ahead and down 3) butt pop 4) front roll (stand up aggressively) 5) butt pop roll 6) praying stretch 7) front flip (block, throw arms, butt pop)
TinTin30 I know how to do a backflip, it was 😨 at first but I did it off something, and on the ground. The frontflip you have to keep doing the steps into you get it. It's kinda nerve wrecking but I always dive and roll until it (the superman) keep working on that technique otherwise you will lose it and have to start over. I hope this help
Literally I watched this once and did a front flip on a trampoline for the first time ever. I’m 33 years old and this literally taught me something new
I tried doing these steps and I did it all for like 3 hours my back has alot of bruises on them and some blood coming out a little, but in the end it was worth it I was so close on doing a front flip. I'll keep doing these steps till I can do a front flip!
Are you practicing on gravel or concrete? If you have bruises from rolling then the surface your on has absolutely no cushion. Which isnt safe if youre first learning. If something goes wrong and you land on your head, you could easily get a concussion.
My first ever front flip was right after my first major teen growth spurt. With my new height and longer legs, I learned quickly that I could run even faster than before, and I was already pretty fast. I was going home from school one day in ninth grade and said "f it, I'mgoing to try to keep pace with the cars." And the rapidly approached a red light where I had to stop. I wasn't used to controlling that speed yet and was wearing a heavy backpack because I didn't buy a locker. The inertia from my backpack carried me foreword after my lower half stopped. I jumped out of instinct and went over, landing on my feet again. Instead of trying that again, my body said (without my permission) "Nope. We're learning how to halt large amounts of momentum on a dime." Later that year, I got hit by a car on my way home. True to physics defying fashion, I ended up stopping the car with my self and walking away perfectly fine. I saw right before the collision that the guy was on his phone, not paying attention to his red light or the pedestrian in front of him. Cop on the corner didn't even get out of his car to see if I was alright... he just kinda _stared_ at me on my way past, likely dumbstruck that a babyface kid could pull such a superhuman feat. Hope _he_ got fired. And that was the story of when I learned I was either invincible, immortal, or both.
i actually did this once when i had never done it before, out of pure adrenaline. i was on a trip with my class to a american football practice thingy, and we were practicing and all of that, and then we had to practice celebrations, and i got into the final with this other kid who was a little shorter than me. He was gonna do a backflip but failed, and i told everyone i was gonna attempt a frontflip, but i had never done one. so i had all that adrenaline built up and i ran as fast as i could, and did the 45 degree thing he showed in the video, and jumped as high as i could, and i fucking did it.
I’m 19 and this video already makes me feel old and fragile as I realise any 10 year old kid can try this hundreds of times and not have to worry about paralysis.
ik no ones gonna see this but i've already learned how to do a front flip on a trampoline, a divingboard, and flat ground into a pool. So i knew it wasn't going to be anything knew to me when i tried. So i coushined my flooor as much as i could untill i didnt feel no pain and when i tried every single time i landed flat on my ass. It's either i just have no bunnys or im doing a step wrong but being able to do a front flip on flat ground is still something highly respectable and a skill that takes an absurd amount of skill. Even though i was landing flat or close to flat on my ass i had about a foot or more of coushing i hit before the ground so i might have a little chance that i can barely land very low but i also didnt have alot of runup so maybe thats another reason i couldn't do it.
1...legs at 45 degree angle aka blocking for 30 secs 2...throw arms for 30 secs 3...rest for 15 4... Butt popping for 45secs 5...front roll for 45 secs 6... dive roll 7...butt pop into roll 8...rest stretch Don’t mind me just trying to remember what to do lol If I got something wrong please correct me
KingPlayz you just gotta try it Try on a trampoline if you don’t have one go to a trampoline park or use an old mattress. Use a swing to flip so you can go through the motions of doing a flip but it’s less scary cause you’re grabbing something He has other videos talking about getting over flipping fears Be safe picture yourself landing the flip Be safe Be safe Be safe Focus I hope this helps I’m still trying to learn as well
@@tiffany2086 well i learn it in the trampoline first, after i think i'm already ready i try it on the grass, and i actually made it but then after a few try, i hit my knee onto my chin and that cause my lips gets bleeding and my bone is injured but atleast i already mastered it.
Honestly even if you can butt pop then you still won't land on your head, only an idiot would land on his/her head.... Sorry if that triggered anyone...
I was trying to do the flip myself by jumping of a pillar and learned a little and then I thought what is youtube made for? thanks man, really helpful. Subscribed
Who did the first steps of this video and paused this video and checked the comments while telling, we'll do it later?😂😂😂😂😂 But I love the video, thank you for teaching us!❤❤❤❤❤
I was learning about it in the second floor, and my neighbor in the first floor was asking what you were doing in the second floor. The fan was going to fall over my head.
Gordon Ramsey doing the front flip, now that's gonna be one weird MasterChef Episode. "It's not Just cooking, I'm a Master at Flips too, eat that you second rated MasterChef"
after this video I felt so inspired that I had to step out my room and try it. first jump: landed on my ass so hard I can't move. dont try this on grass for the first time. it hurts
I used to front flip on a trampoline at my cousins house... 4 years later after not doing front flips because I didnt have a trampoline and doing it for the first time in ages I got hella disoriented.
I use the blocking technique to gain unnatural height when I do a jump. I figured out how to not even need a run up. I leaned back and pivoted foreword, maybe taking at most one step before doing it to fling myself into the air.
Man I'm holding a yoga mat and walking shirtless to the beach I don't need your stretching instructions but I'll probably learn this flip today thanks to this video
Tip: if anyone is struggling with actually wanting to commit on hard ground- add an extra few minutes and use a mattress to commit before you commit on solid ground
Well 1. Cars can't think 2. The people in the cars were either thinking "he's trying to do a flip" or they weren't paying attention because they were driving and their eyes were on the road
Oh my god, thank you so much! I've been practicing parkour for 2 years now, and I've hard the hardest time doing flips. I appreciate all the hard work that goes into these videos. You've earned my subscription and like!
In wrestling - we used to "dive" into a roll. Meaning you run and you jump over an obstacle with your arms forward, you land arms first - then you roll off of your hands, and the inertia kicks you back up on your feet. Mighty fun to do. This "high jump" into "hand stand" into "roll" makes a very good precursor front flip. At some point you can jump over a 1.2 meter obstacle, land on your arms and roll away - smoothly. At that point doing a front flip is very natural, you just "roll" in mid air, instead of waiting for the hands to touch the floor.
Luca Natteri Many people survive broken necks. It depends on how severe the fracture is. If the spinal cord is damaged there will be paralysis of some sort, but if not, most people will eventually return to live normal lives. (Is anyone else wondering how am I typing this when I'm dead)
I’ve been using this video the past few days to try and teach myself to do a flip. So far, haven’t been able to do the flip itself (well I’m flipping, but I keep landing on my back). But I DID nail the dive roll, so I take that as a sign of progress!
@@pbscsemate689 It's not very scary, but maybe practice onto a matress or pillows or something, because it will really hurt the day after if you land on your back. If you can do it on a trampoline with good form straight off it with no pre-jump, you should be able to do it.
don't worry it does'nt hjrt at all if you land on your butt on the grass.... but if you land on your vertibral area just opposite to the chest, then you might feel uneasy to breath for like 5 seconds... but nothing like fracture or anything serious will happen... still to get over the fear, try dive roll and eventually standing front roll with out hands...
