I’m 25, 5’7 and 107 lbs male. I have such a hard time finding the right meals to eat even tho I eat a lot but always stay the same weight. Been trying to workout 3 days a week including taking rest days in between those workout days, also been drinking protein shakes after my workout but I don’t know what else I’m missing to gain more weight and muscle
I used to be same weight and height too except im 108lbs (August 2022) so I ate so much, forced myself to eat more than my normal proportion and drink milk everyday now im 130 lbs
I used to be 115 and 5’10 I started going to the gym 5 times a week, eating a lot in my breakfast 2 snacks per day a heavy lunch and and light dinner with a protein shake after 6 months I had gained 15 pounds and after a year I gained 30 pounds, I never missed the gym even in the days that I felt like crap, slept 8 hours a day every day and never cheated on my diet, it might sound like a lot but coming from someone who suffered from depression and bad self esteem trust me it was the best decision I ever made! I’m half the man than most and I made it, you can do it as well boss.
Hey I’m 24, started working out and eating more a little over a month ago. I used to think I ate a lot, but to be frank I wasn’t eating enough. I’m 5’9 and was 103 a little over a month ago. I’m up to 120 lbs and my goal is to reach 140 by the end of the year. Things that noticeably changed…I track calories now and try to hit at least 3000 a day. However more than half of these come from drinking/liquid such as mass gainer shakes and chocolate milk. I don’t like peanut butter but that’s another high protein food I recommend. I also started eating cashews and pistachios more instead of chips. Consistency is key. And also working out helps build muscle and weight as well…I try to get at least 5/6 days in every week. Like I said I just started and I’ve tried gaining weight in the past but was never consistently eating at a caloric surplus. And this past month, I’ve seen amazing progress. Also getting up early allows me time to space my meals out and not get full as easily. And sleep is important too. Also it’s okay to eat dirty (fats and carbs) as those contain more calories per gram and or more caloric dense foods. But what you take in affects what comes out (when you 💩 lol), ideally you want to eat clean like chicken and rice but it can be hard to reach a surplus with just that especially if you’re skinny and don’t have a large appetite. Eating is key and just as important as working out if not more.
I lose weight much faster than gaining weight. My appetite is just so low even if I see delicious food. I am 49.85kg and 5"6 as of now, and I have been underweight for years
it’s expensive a little bit but if you can afford it buy some mass gainer bodybuilding warehouse are selling a 5kg tub atm and if you use code SAVE40 you can get 10kg for 42 GBP get vanilla mix 4 scoops (2 servings) in blender with 3-4 bananas bit of milk and maybe ice cream and you got yourself 2200 calories from one shake then all you have to do is get those last 1000 calories which is surprisingly easy. if you can’t afford protein powder just have banana shakes with yoghurt and milk and eat oats or eggs for the quick protein and the calories add up if you eat it consistently just track your calories it helps you find where you go wrong
I'm 6 foot and 127 lbs and it's been a really big struggle to gain weight due to some health problems that I was having due to my weight for me I eat as many calories as I can and try and eat as healthy as possible as well with as much protein I can and it is surprisingly really hard to gain weight I never realized it
This might not be worth your while since you said healthy eating but if you really want to gain weight just drink a shitload of milk. I was having 1L before bed every night and gained 10kg in a couple months. I had it before bed because I didn't want to be full during the day and limit my intake of other foods. Might not be for you but definitely an option if you're really keen to gain
Doubt if anyone will reply but I went from 80kg to 55kg . Didn't realise I lost so much until last July a work colleague remarked as she patted me on the back how bony I was. I did some intermittent fasting to prove to my son I could get visible abs. At 5ft 10 reaching 60 years of age I've never felt better but have been told to quit gym and try and eat regularly but nothing is happening so yesterday I just though I'm just going to enjoy my life now and stop worrying. Greetings from London Uk
1 tip i'll give all you skinny dudes, never drink coffee. I loved coffee but i knew when i wake up i dont feel like eating much.. replaced 1 coffee with 6 eggs and milk. worked wonders on me
I am 46 y.o. Indian and I am under 50kgs. My mom is also underweight like me, so it is probably the genes but I am not going to ride on body positivity. I need to gain weight, at least 5-6 Kgs. Started taking in more calories and to help me digest more food, I increased my water intake as well. Starting with 1/2 tsp of Himalayan rock salt and water in the morning.
Hello, I’m currently 18 years old and my weight is currently 47kg. I used to be 53kg while I was 16, but it sadly dropped, but hopefully I can try find myself a way to gain weight. 🙏
Are you female? It shouldnt be too hard to get back up a few kg's just make sure your having 3 meals a day. Hows your progress now? Im a 6'1 male that went from 86kg to 68 then gained a bit up to 71 and slowly up to 78. Im getting there but you really have to stretch your stomach and cram in food.
I'm 58, 6'2" and have always been under weight and if I'm honest, never been happy with my body, I'm very gangly, long skinny legs and long skinny arms. I'm healthy, strong, just really really skinny. I've always eaten like a horse, as much as i want, what i want and whenever i want, and it's made no difference, I've been the same weight for over 40 years.
Do women like the one in this video find guys attractive who go from being too slender, to putting on some weight, yet making sure they don't put on too much of it?
When you stop doing drugs especially painkillers your metabolism goes back to normal and you’ll see results as you eat. No matter how much you eat on painkillers you’ll hardly gain weight.
Think to yourself, you eat 2400 calories average a day a 165g green pringles is 853kcal wich is 1/3 of your daily calories if you buy the pringles and eat ir everyday you are going to get 33% everyday, hope that helps, as simple as that
Not eating the right things, and probably over doing it. It's a marathon not a race. I've never been good at setting goals. But slowly getting to where I want to be
I'm 5'9 120..lbs male my weight fluctuates up and down from time to time from 120 to 119 to 124 to 118 and so on my last weight check recently was 117 lbs I remember 8 months ago I was 114 lbs man tha frustration 🤦♂️I also have a high metabolism...
@@Ionic_edge I wouldn't say it's a curse but naturally how it is...some ppl gain excessive weight and others less weight us skinny underweight ppl like myself wish I was a normal weight then you have some people with a high weight that want lose it not to be skinny but medium weight and I myself want a weight gain of at least 150/160 not that it's impossible but difficult to reach that number
@@mahadanwar61 I know it can be difficult at times trying to reach a proper weight there are 4 categories of weight feather light middle and heavy... then again underweight and overweight
Great insights. Recommendation: NO MUSIC. Hard/distracting to hear you. We're not watching because of the music. Does more harm than good. Too loud too.
try doing this with a pholate defficiency, cant digest carbs properly and get throat ulcers from constant acid reflux its a nightmare but im still forcing the food in me, im always tired no matter what i eat or how much sleep i get its like i need cocaine to live a normal life, havnt touched any drugs in over 12 yrs now but the temptation is unreal because of how tired i always feel
Eat 3 loaves of your favorite bread throughout the day. One bowl of your favorite cereal with whole milk.... and 2 20 Oz Garden of Life organic chocolate protein shakes with whole milk in them. Snacking on dry Bread really really helps!!!
I am 22 years old 5 foot eight 130 pounds and from June 1, 2022 to August 31, 2022 I consumed 5000 cal every day with no weight gain plus even still going to the gym 4 days a week. my metabolism is through the roof not sure what to do
I’m basically just poor, even though I work my ass off, that’s why I’m light- so none of these products would factor in my shop- they seem to be the fancy version of whatever item,I’m almost 6 foot 2 yet I weigh just over 70 kilos, any and all advice would be much appreciated!

Focus on weight lifting rather than excess cardio - increasing your weight lifting will help maintain current muscle as well as build new muscle. High protein! 51yo, 6'4, 155lbs, I ways have had a hard time with weight gain which causes self esteem issues. Tired of being slender, being asked, "Have you lost more weight? Eat another sandwich!" I wanna gain weight and put on mass.
you're still young and have barely gone through puberty, should still eat more but you could just be an ectomorph - a person with a naturally fast metabolism and lean body mass, lots of growing left just eat a bunch of meat, vegetables & fat.
The easiest way to stay consistent (with anything) is to make it a habit. Check out author James Clear's book Atomic Habits. His Ted Talk covers the basics. 1% Better Every Day - James Clear :: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mNeXuCYiE0U.html
If u have any addictions whatsoever, they will lessen ur appetite. I thought of making high powered shakes. But one easy step is to add a few more eggs to ur breakfast. 4-5 scrambled eggs isn't so bad.
Lifting weights will help you to not only gain strength in your muscles, but also contribute to burning calories throughout the day which is turn can help with your appetite. Aim for at least 30g of protein per meal, whether that means adding in a side like greek yogurt, or popping open a protein shake. Additionally, adding things like healthy oils to your food can help with the increased calorie consumption without noticing - snacking on nuts and seeds will also help because they are calorie dense AND nutrient dense!
@@TrifectaNutrition Ok, I am not that comfortable with the gym right now. Will doing pull-ups work for me or not, as this is the only thing I think I can do right now?
Throughout my highschool, my BMI is always underweight. I'm a guy, 17 yo with only 36 kilograms (idk that in lbs)..my point is, whenever I eat a lot, I actually never gain weight, and idk where all that food went 😂
Every body is different, but typically after you eat more for for a couple weeks consistently, your body will naturally begin to adjust and you'll feel hungrier.
I want to gain weight and go to the gym so i can become a muscular guy im really really skinny that you can even put your thumb and index finger in my wrist 👌 😭
Same advice anywhere, the most basic obvious shit. Not what anyone comes for. Sorry for the negative comment. Sauces is a good one but ive always drenched everything. Do i and every hard gainer drink literal oil? Obviously. Keep thinking people.
Lose the pitiful excuse for "music". It is the definition of "idiotic", and it reduces the audibility of your voice. The "background idiot loop" does not explain anything at all. Your voice does. Why do you want to mask your voice? Why do you put the idiot loop in? It lowers my confidence that anyone who added that crap to their video, masking their own voice, is a reliable source of advice. Maybe x I x should x type x with x "X" added x to x provide x more x content x?
