How to Get ANY Weekly Skin FAST! - Rec Room VR Life Hack 

hey! this video is getting views again so here's some corrections because some of the stuff I say in it is a bit outdated: 5:32 - you can quickly get 10 games completed in laser tag and paintball, unlike what I say here. grab a friend in a private lobby, start the game, and have the friend leave. because you're the only one left in the game, it will automatically end and give you the credit for it. have your friend join back and repeat this 10 times! 7:27 - the way I show in this video is probably actually the HARDEST way to cheat in disc golf. the easiest way is to go to your watch, go to your backpack, and then spawn in either the feedback tool or the share camera. you can then use the share camera to hit the disc across the ground without picking it up, and complete each hole with only one or two strokes very quickly. they also added a new weekly challenge for completing 5 games of RecRally. games of RecRally can take a really long time and I don't think they instantly end when there's only one player left like laser tag or paintball do, so probably skip this one if you see it.

On the Disc Golf map "Propulsion" there is a hidden sword behind the waterfall on the far end of the map. If you get this sword you can just hit the disc like a golf ball. If you don't touch your disc, you can hit the disc in a hazard and it won't count as such.

the disc golf can be cheesed in screen mode by aiming almost all the way down and constantly throwing it so it wont count as a stroke

In all of the ten game categories, you and your friend can start the game, and then one of your friends leave and the game finishes.

For under par there’s also an easier way to get the disc over! Over by the stand with the discs there’s a movable cart-thing that you can put the disc in and pull it along with you, pick up up and set it on the goal, it’s quite easy and probably my favorite one to cheese because it’s so easy. This might have been said but I’m gonna post it just because more chance people will see it!

This works for both paintball and laser tag if you have a weekly that says complete 10 games you can make a private room on paintball or laser tag and get a friend to join you than start the game then when the game starts ask your friend to leave them you have completed one game. Then you could invite him back to do it again. It work good for laser tag because it takes time to get kills.

You can use your hands to push the disc across the ground without grabbing it get a way faster hole in one every time Theres also some strategy because if you haven’t grabbed your disc yet then its not “active” and when its not active then its not able to hit the goal or be hit by water so it will just go over the water I have dubbed this “lawnmower strat”

Ask people in the rec center for help. Me who doesn't use my mic and constantly lags out as soon as I set my non-existent feet into the rec center: hecking hell. Also on disc golf lake, there is one of those things from the rec center and put your disc in it.

Damn you got some pretty good strategies and tricks and this video is like a guide or something to help the people do their weekly faster and this is a good vid to watch for people who are willing to help so this vid is pretty good for people who never done weekly before and if anybody never has done it before or you are having trouble doing it then this video will help you :)

For disk golf, you can grab the cart by the booth and bring it to your disc and put the disc in. Then you can bring it around and score points. Be careful moving the cart around because the disc can and will glitch out of the cart.

For the laser tag one I found that what you can do is grab two friends and have them sit next to each other and then you kill them over and over as they revive each other works like a charm

For disc golf you can hit the Frisbee while it's on the ground because it is an unanchored object and it's a bit quicker than glitchwalking but better yet the hazards aren't turned on until you pick up the disc so you can push it across a lake.

damn, i know im half a year too late but you know there is a basket in disk golf lake you can use to just put the disks in there and just drag them. its by the display for the disk skins

On the Disc Golf map “Lake” there is a cart that you can bring around the map, and put the disc inside of. It will cost you 2 strokes each but it is worth it getting about -7 points.

Really useful tips!

If you have a friend with you while you are in disc golf lake, they can get a little movable storage thingy near where some special disc skins are. they can grab that, make them put yours and their own in it, and take it to the goal. this will count as one stroke so be carefull. this is a solution for screen players and an easier route for vr players.

For the 10 games in paintball challenge I’ve noticed the private instance on Clearcut seems to take a little less time then on something like River

i have a really good cheese for the play 10 games and it works on all of them grab a alt (or a friend) start the game make them leave the game and that counts as a game completed for some reason. And on disk golf you can push your disk to the goal pick it up and you got a free, quick and easy disk golf under par.

For disc golf go to disc golf propulsion. There is a sword you can hit the disc with behind the waterfall and it doesn’t count as strokes and it doesnt matter if it goes in the water. Just dont pick up your disc with your hand until you know it’s going in the basket

For disk golf play the propulsion map and use the sword to move the disk. (The sword is behind the waterfall over at the left side of the map and you have to throw the disk before hitting the disk with the sword.)

I usually play standalone quest 2 but when it comes to disc golf, I get on PC and push the frisbee with my hand to make it go faster. I usually complete disc golf in about 3 - 5 minutes with this.

If you wanna do the disc golf one, it’s really easy to do on screen once you figure out where to aim

For disk gold you can also use the cart in between hole 2 and 3 or on propulsion you can use the quest sword behind the waterfall and both is faster then glitch walk but any 3 work

In lake there is an easier way to complete it under par. You can get the bucket from the lake map and put the frisbee in. Then just walk the bin over to the goal. If you don’t mess up then you’ll complete it under par.

9:00 there is another way to cheese disk golf. If you go to disc golf propulsion behind one of the water falls is a sword which you can hit your frisbee with and it won’t count as a throw. Thus you hit your frisbee to the goal then simply pick it up and place it in.

For disk golf in lake there is a basket near a stall thingy and you can put the disks in there pull it to the end and put it in the goal and on propulsion there is a sword under the far waterfall and you can use it to hit the disk along like actual golf

when he explained glitch walking, theres a way faster way (THE BIGGER THE PLAYSPACE THE FASTER YOU GO). So basically you have to look at where u wanna go and then walk foward IRL then when you are at ur guardian border, turn around 180 degrees IRL and turn ingame as well, if you do this you should be closer and closer.

On disk golf lake, the is a moveable crate at the hut with the water bottles near hole 4 that you can bring and put your disc in it, then bring it to the goal. Repeat until you get to the end and you should have under par!

In disc golf lake, start the game and leave your disc. go all the way to the little shack with the basket cart, bring the cart back to your disc and throw your disc into the cart, you can then drag the cart to the hole and since your disc hasnt touched the ground, it wont count against your score. and you can complete it 3 times as fast as shown in the video

On disc golf, if you get down low enough you can hit the disc with your hand and it won't despawn. Using this, you can hit it right next to the hole and put it in for under par every time, way faster.

Everyone knows this already but there is a little cart thingy near your spawn at disc golf and you can toss it in there and move it around really fast

In disc golf, there is another glitch. constantly move forward while holding the disc, then start dropping the disc, and picking it up again, but make sure it doesn’t touch the floor.

You know in disc golf proportion there’s a sword that you can use to just knock the desk to the hall and pick it up and throw it in every time it’s easier and faster than a glitch walking it’s in the waterfall next to the graduation statue

Btw in disc golf you dont need to glitch walk you just need to let go and pick up the disc really quick while walking and its still stroke 1 if you dont throw it too far just a suggestion 😁

in sam's disk golf by the lake there is a basket you can go a grab and you can throw your disk into it and then drag the basket to the goal so each hole is 2 strokes

The way to do disc golf under par is for the 1st part if two throw got u a goal, thats birdie-1 (how golf works is essentially the lesser the points, the better ur score) n for the 2nd course two throw goal gives u a par(so 1 throw cost u birdie-1 for the second course). N par gives u 0 points so thats gud. 3rd, 4th n 5th r same as 1st course score dynamic. N the 6th course, 3 throw gives u eagle-2. N the way to get eagle-2 is throw the the rocky wall(1) n then throw it over the wall(2) n the third is to throw it normally to the goal. BOOM ur a winner

lol, i can never do quests in pairs, i usually end up with really high level people or people who just hate new players even when im trying really hard, they just leave the game or kick me.

For disc golf you can actually go get the cart then put your disc in it then just put it in the goal once you have walked over to it

There’s a basket or whatever it’s called near that shop with all the disks and you can put the disk in there and start moving. It a lot faster but it’s glitchy but it’s worth it

in paintball someone can join start it and when it starts they join a new match and the match u were in before counts as a match so leave until it starts (but when they leave it has to say it "ended" bcz there's nobody in the room after it ended leave)

Fun fact: Laser tag can be cheesed! You can just keep joining lobbies and when it’s a low time wait for the match to end and then when it’s finished join a new one that has a low time etc.

For disc golf if you are lazy go to disc golf lake and start the game then go to hole 4. There’s a basket there you can drag back over to hole1 and put the disc in there and carry it around. It’s easy but a lot more glitchy and it also takes 2 pars for it to work

if you get a friend to do dodgeball, paintball, or laser tag once the game starts they can go back to their dorm and it will force the game to end and then It counts as a game played

in laser tag you can be in a private with one friend on the other team and have them leave causing the game to end early. you can get your ten games pretty fast depending on how quick your friend's load times are.

disc golf is very easy on screen mode, ones you know where to aim your throw, you will always get a hole in one or maybe hit the flag one your second throw

On the disc golf challenge I prefer to throw the disc, and then nudge it with me hands (this works for both VR and screen players). This should result in a hole in one, leaving you with around -20 points on disc golf lake for instance

For disc golf either: 1. Go and get the cart and put the discs in there 2. Drop and grab the disc while moving forward and it won’t count as a stroke.

it was helpful tips.. I thought you needed to complete each and every item on the weekly category. How do people know it ionly requires 3 of the items on the weekly list of challenges? and will that walk glitch work on an oculus quest 2 hand controller in stand alone mode?

I have my own tactic for some of theses categories like Play 10 games of X: Keep server hopping until you find a game with under 1 min left of the round, finish it and repeat. If its laser tag stay in the game if a team has at least 300 points. Disc Golf: Go on mo bile because the disc goes straight in the direction of your crosshair making it so much easier Eliminations: Get an alt account in a private game or server hop to a large server if your a try hard I normally ignore quests just because I don't really like them I'm saying all of this with only watching the into and categories

there is also a box thingy when u walk out of the gates. i go and get that and put the frisbee in the box and run to the goal. its much faster

In the rec Royal 5 hits I found a way to cheese it, if you take any explosive( granade, plates and launchers) it counts as one hit

At disk golf you can go to the place that has all of those frisbees with skins on display and you can grab the trash can on wheels and put the disk in there

There is an easier way to do the disc golf thing. You just have to spam the trigger (whatever you need to grab stuff) and throw it lightly, walk and then grab it. Basically moving an inch every time you throw and then catch it mid-air. Great vid tho

All of the 10 games can be cheesed by joining a public lobby that is already in the middle of a match it still makes the bar go up on weekly saying that you did it once they finish it.

For paintball, I have found all you need to do is get a kill in a game for it to count. Therefor have a friend join you. Let you kill them once and then leave and join back and theme the game will end. Repeat ten times and then swap roles for your friend
