This was great advice Alicia! As for new videos there are three: 1.) A new Fractionation video combined with the Butterfly Induction with suggestion to stop overthinking. 2.) A audio version with you repeating "Sound of My Voice" with layering and looping sounds for self-healing or self love and 3.) a fun video of course, involving the lollipop that could a video for new subscribers who find your channel. Think of these ideas and I can't wait to see what come up with. Thanks.

No, thank you for helping all of us, subscribers, who tune into your hypnosis videos. I think the vast majority of us are more relaxed, more peaceful, happy and positive if not hypnotized. And it is ALL because of YOU. Thank you so much for what you do. :)

Thanks, Alicia. Another interesting & informative video. Must admit, I hadn't thought about sitting up rather than lying down - when I started trying hypnosis videos, it was because of insomnia, so it was always late at night in bed. Fortunately the insomnia was only temporary and I now just watch the videos out of interest - but I still watch them lying down. I over-analyse everything else, but didn't think of that! Will try sitting up next time and see if it makes a difference...

I'd love to see some videos that play around with subliminal messaging! A lot of the time i get caught up listening to and over-thinking what the person is saying in most hypnosis videos, but when there's multiple voices at a time, at different volumes and coming from different angles, i find it a lot easier to drift off into a relaxing trance. Also i feel like it would be a pretty fun file to make. Great video by the way!

Hi Alicia! Thank you for all awesome your work, please keep doing what you do sooo well, I love your enthusiasm. And your accent ;) As for suggestions - is there a chance you would showcase a conversational/covert hypnosis? That would be fantastic! I am also very much looking forward to confusion induction mentioned in another comment. On a side note - thanks to you I cannot walk past people playing with fidget spinners without a very pleasurable flashback. At first I really disliked the trend, now... quite the contrary :D

Great points to keep in mind to have a better hypnosis experience. Some video suggestions. A video for overcoming fears/phobias. A video for breaking bad habits. Perhaps a video for mental alertness/focus, using more of your mind, opening up your mind, stop overthinking things and go with the flow. Something along those lines. Thank you Alicia. :D

I'd definitely agree with the overthinking thing. I used to overthink everything just like you said, and then it just clicked and I stopped over thinking it. Thanks again for the wonderful video. Um, one thing that I would say is for analytical people wanting to experience hypnosis, to try a confusion induction. I was curious about this myself as I am also highly analytical, and was reading one such induction and went into trance just reading it. Woke from trance a few moments later with a somewhat sheepish look on my face as I certainly wasn't expecting to drop from reading it. On that note, Alicia, I would totally love to see what you would do with a confusion induction video xD

I was having difficulty being hypnotized, and one realization made all the difference..I used to drive a lot for two to three hours at a time. To pass the time while driving I listed to "books on tape" because it made the time pass so easily and was enjoyable. Thinking back I realized that I had limited awareness of actually driving, and most of my memory was the story of the book. I think that I was fighting the induction by trying too hard... Once I just sat back and let things happen, wow, there was a critical moment when I stopped hearing your voice as an external person talking to me, and you somehow became more of an extension of my own mind...where your voice was part of me somehow.. so if anyone is having difficulty and has ever "lost" themselves in a good book or even movie, I think just relaxing and removing any expectation that you have to "do" anything is a key concept. At least it was for me.
@AliciaFairclough

Very true. We experience forms of 'waking hypnosis' all the time and don't give it a lot of thought. Anyone who has ever driven home on a familiar route and realised once they arrived that they don't remember a large portion of the trip. Thanks for commenting :)

Alicia (Alice....Through the Looking Glass)...note that the pinwheel is a 'take-off' from a spiral escalation found in something like a Fibonacci series. Now the Brits invented the 'umbrella'. Note how you can create it with 8 congruent triangles, forming an Octagon (like an octagonally formulated 'Union Jack' shortened from the rectangular flag), spin it and then you have a symbolic trigger implanted with GB in mind. [Of course it can be suggestive of the canton on both the AU and NZ flags as well.]

Good advices, I will practice this, listening many times your voice is a good one. But to close is my conflict, the overthinking. I know english, and the words that are used in a hypnosis videos (deep, follow my finger, concentration to my voice), but really easily I am thinking "this word mean in spanish x word", that's my (specific) problem. Anyway, get used to your voice (with all your videos), can help me alot. Maybe I will try the one on one session in a final instance. Anyway, by the moment I always can enjoy your informative videos perfectly, I learn much, and I really like it. And your videos in general, are every time better and creative (spinner hypnosis is so cool xD). I hope will go more inside here :) Don't stop to make this. About the new video, like many people, I am expecting about a fun hypnosis xD You can choose any one fun thing, I know that will be awesome :) A video of you being hypnotized (by one of your videos, or by other people) is another good option too. Off topic: My english is understanding? Regards and hugs from Argentina, have a nice season!

Here are some of my tricks to stay in trance (I have more problem keeping trance going than going into trance) : -I trance at the same place with the same routine before going in. -I have another light subliminal track going at the same time as I listen to a session, the same every time. If I lose focus, because I feel the session is too slow or uninteresting , I have something else to listen to. -I listen to multiple sessions one after the other, in a way that I can stay deep and focused. -Sometimes I imagine someone massaging my temples to help me relax. -If a random thought pops out, I try to think about it as slowly as possible, as it was moving through water or another thick liquid. -In my mind, I try to repeat things the hypnotist said in his or her voice, kind of like when you spend a long time with someone and you start hearing their voice instead of your own as your inner monologue. -Sometimes, it starts feeling really good and you feel really hypnotized, but it doesn't last. Just remember to enjoy the moment, and it may happen again, so stay positive about the experience. I hope these tricks help you feel wonderful!

Good advice. Not sure I can request anything unique, but: A wish list: In a word, variety, which I think you already have planned Virtual experiences like whole body levitation, or anything normally not available in RL. More post hypnotic suggestions, with or without amnesia, for fun. Special effects, just on occasion, if not too time consuming to do, like binaural beats and multi track. Sensory skill practice: taste a lemon, feel a breeze, hear an ocean, visualize a scene, etc, to rez up our Virtual Reality experience. Novel induction aids like the fidget spinner. Exotic location hypnotic vacation.

I think one thing that helps me (living in America) is what I consider to be your exotically languid accent. That is a benefit because the nature of your tonal rhythms makes me pay special attention to your words and inflections. I think that is why I start to get drowsy so soon after the various inductions begin. I think your voice would still be effective if I shared your linguistic heritage, but perhaps not. Too bad there is no way to test that.

Alicia, this one time I was in my music room and my metronome just began to tell me to listen to the sound of its voice and that I could play like Chopin. Unfortunately I am so analytical that I cannot be hypnotised. Like you. BTW that is the very reason you can edit your videos without being hypnotised by the sound of your voice the sound of your voice. I don't know what that metronome was thinking but who cares? I don't need to play like Chopin so why overthink it? I am considering watching your hypnosis for anxiety and social awkwardness but I don't know how to do it without everyone thinking I am some kind of freak. Why do you always look to the left but hardly ever to the right?
@AliciaFairclough
@AliciaFairclough 7 лет назад
It's probably just me checking the screen to make sure everything is still recording (no errors etc). Screw what other people think :) :P Also... Why would anyone know what you're listening to? I can definitely be hypnotised... That's not why I'm not hypnotised editing my videos :)
