You're right. It's so easy to tell if a guy likes you. He'll do everything to be with you or talk to you or get in contact with you if he's interested. He'd want to know everything about you. If he doesn't show his interest within one week, you're in a friend zone. If you feel something for him, nip it in the bud.

hello santi..^^ i came to hellotalk to learn Japanese I like Japanese culture, but I meet a man which was completely different from other Japanese he told me that he likes me and want to be my boyfriend. we have 5 years age difference. He asks that if I have a bf when i said no he said impossible how can you be single. then he tricks me and said he has a gf when he again asked me if i have a bf then i said no he immediately said i also don't have gf. after few days he said he want me to impressed by him i was thinking is he tricking on me!?? i am Indian and i don't believe in someone so fast. i think all boys in japan are good but after seeing the truth in your videos i am glad that i found you in youtube Santi..^^ Arigatou for informative videos i always watch your videos and share them with my friends..^^

Omg! I can’t believe santi made the exact video which also answers my question about a Japanese I met off tinder ! I need to tell him next time I see him how I feel. He and I are both in USA ... but he did say he looks for friends ... can I turn things around ?

my piece of advice, you need to know the person's personality you're talking to. like if he's the kind of guy who made up his mind before he speaks, there's nothing you can change. that being said, if he said he only look for friend, then that's it. but hey, that's the logic but if you put in fate, nothing can stop fate too haha. anyway, good luck! Trust your intuition! :)

i find it difficult to interpret or understand if this japanese guy likes me as a friend only or more than a friend. as we only talk thru chat everyday. kindly give me signs that he wants to forward or progress the relationship into something special. We have been chatting for almost a year now simce the pandemic. Please make a video in this for us who have on line relationship with japanese guy. Thank you so much.

Off-topic:80 dollars for an English lesson? and teachers get paid only 3 dollars per 1-hour lesson hahahhaha. No wonder a few Japanese students act like they own their teachers. They must think that the teachers are paid well.

@@japaneseman I worked in 1 of these online schools and yes,I can confirm we were paid only 3 dollars. If we want to earn a decent amount by the end of each month, we have to book more than 10 classes per day. Plus the fact that we have to submit reports and other essential documents after each lesson. And we get penalized for errors (we pay or we don't get paid). Emergency leaves are frowned upon as well. A fellow teacher had to cancel her classes due to family emergency and was denied from taking classes for 3 days. I just hope some of these 'mean' Japanese students are aware that the job isn't a lucrative as they believe. I've encountered a few who were extremely rude. The reason why I left. Three dollars wasn't worth the treatment I got.

i have no idea what you experienced. but what i was talking about in my video is not about online school. and as far as i know they get paid at least 2000 usd a mnth.. anyway, change your job if you arent happy bro...
